Remarks

I was searching for Computer Science branch in Pune's colleges. So we went to see 3-4 colleges through referral from a site as I was new to the city. So they took me to 3 colleges which were having all the basic criteria and we're getting placements too. Then after that we decided for one college that was Indira College of Engineering and Management.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course syllabus is according to the latest curriculum decided by the University. We were given full exposure be it the external courses or internships. Faculty is also good. They all are nice, helpful and focused. Pragati mam and Priya mam were very helpfull to students.

Class Size: 21Course Fees: INR 93217 per year

Placement Experience

Companies come on campus and we get to give their test according to the criteria of the company, they take our details of 10th, 12th and semester results, our resume and other project related details also. Then criteria is set and students are shortlisted to give tests. College TPO provides full assistance. Students give test and further shortlist to give Interview ad HR rounds after which they are placed.

College Events

Events are held within college and intercollege range. Almost every festival is celebrated and events are held. Events are regularly held within the Brach level and college level also. First year students are Oriented accordingly so that they get mixed up with each others too.

Campus Life

Infrastructure is nice and good. College is surrounded with Greenery and quiet environment. Place is nice for study related things. Food court is within walking distance for refreshment. Hostel is within the college premises. Dedicated 24??7 security guards are within the premises. College canteen is mandatory for Hostelites.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel is in seperate building within the college perimeter. It has plenty of capacity. Every possible expenditure will be included in the Yearly Hostel Fees i.e. Light bill, Cleaning staff, etc. All the rooms are shared with capacity of 3 students in every room. A/C and Non-A/C rooms are available upon request.

Hostel Fee: INR 88000 per year

The placements in my college are pretty good considering the Fact that mostly its the Top 2000-3000 students from Maharashtra that make it to this college. The average Package offered in the college is Around 11LPA while the highest package last year was around 48LPA. The names of the Top companies that have recruited students from my college include Adobe, Amazon and Mastercard. The placement percentage from the past few years has been above 90%. My plans after getting the Degree is either to continue my Cricket Career as a Proffesional or to become a Commercial Pilot.

Since after completing my graduation from St. Mira's College, I started my preparation for CAT exam and had achieved 65 percentile in it. Apart from that, my academic scores had been good through out my educational journey.
