College has a big campus of 110 acers which is lush green abd beautiful
We have a Cricket ground and a olympic size swiming pool.

Dislikes

The college is far away from the college gate so students have to walk a lot.

The college is affiliated to pune University and the cource curriculum is also decided by the University. The syllabus changes every 4 years and is mostly relevant to past technology. The exam fees needs to be piad seperate from the college fees

The college provides information about internship in various companies and various fields. The curriculum has made internship compulsory for students in the third year of college. So the college also provides support for internship.

Placement Experience

The college provides placement to students and support students tillte end. Various companies including amazon come to to offer placement in the campus. The college also provides assistant for internship.

Fees and Financial Aid

Our yearly fees is 95000. The fees needs to paid full at time of admission. College also provides installment options. College has school options provided by Maharashtra government. The amount of scholarship depends on the category of student.

Campus Life

The campus life is pretty good and the college also conducts new event every week. Main college event is conducted in second semister known as KJ fest all the college's in the campus participate in the event.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel is in the college campus and the hostel has 24/7 security. The hostel has seperate gloors for girls and boys which are completely seperate from each other. The hostel fees is high but considering the security it is worth it.

Hostel Fee: INR 50000 per year

Admission

The college admission takes place through cet capround after the mht-cet exams. The college does not conduct any interview rounds. The college is good and the campus is also good. I chose this college due to its good teaching quality and the campus.

Faculty

The facilities are all experienced and have good qualification. Facilities support students to do academic and non academic activities. The exam are conducted by the pune University and the endsem paper are also checked by pume University

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

SIT is best engineering college of Pune!!

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus.
