Remarks

I found out it is a reputed college and has very nice infrastructure and teaching-learning facility. It also has good result. I opted for this course as I came to know computer science has a lot of scope.

Course Curriculum Overview

The syllabus is updated. Not enough industrial exposure is given to students. Many of the facilities are good but not all are good enough. They try and finish the syllabus in time but the way of teaching is not up to the mark.

Placement Experience

The college has a good placement and job opportunity in computer science department. Most students get placed by last year. Infosys, wipro, federal bank are some of the company that come to the college for placements. The college has its own placement cell as well.

College Events

The college conducts only few cultural activities like arts festival and onam celebration. Events are organised by the third years and the participants can be from any year and department. They are usually conducted on college level. Tech fests are also conducted by the college.

Campus Life

The infrastructure of the college is really good. It has library, ground, class rooms with proper facilities and all other facilities that are mainly required in a college. It has good buildings and labs as well.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel has good infrastructure and facilities. Food and stay are quite good in the hostel. The students are allowed to decide the mess and food they need every month. The mess has an average fee and phone charging and other facilities are also provided in the college.

Hostel Fee: INR 27000 per year

Placement oppertunities are often given during 4th year of our course. Average package is around 3Lakhs per year. Students getting placements are often high but most of the reject the offer for higher studies inorder to get a higher package.

College Feels Like Home

Placement Experience:

The placement department in our college is great and is always trying to bring good companies to the college. The placement training starts from semester 7. Our top recruiter include Infosys, TCS, Wipro, NocoBD, Delloite, etc. and our mechanical, civil, EEE,ECE all got placements with avg of 4lpa.The highest package where 12 Lpa for SAP. My plans is to get a good job and lead a stable life.

Students in 7th and 8th semester are eligible to sit for campus placements. Companies like Oracle, Goldman Sachs, L&T, Bajaj, Caterpillar and PSU's like BEL,HPCL and BPCL come to the college usually the coding companies offer aroung 35-40 LPA CTC and the core PSU companies offer around 17-18 LPA. Highest Package is 51 LPA and an Average Package of 12 LPA. Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for attending campus placement from semester 7. Some companies that visits ICET are Utc global, Layland, DeltaX, etc. The average package given by the companies are 3 lpa. The percentage of students getting placed are around 40%. I plan to placed at any company.

I had applied for this course in several colleges in banglore and other places. The reason which hold me here is the course affordability and good infrastructure provided by this college. This college offers BTech artificial intelligence and Data Science at the rate of 98500 per year as tution fees while other colleges offer this same course around 200000 tution fee per year which is a better reason for studying this college. The college also provide scholarships for students on the basis of their plus two marks and keam ranks which will cover their entire tuition fee which helps the students to study in a cost effective way and also increase the quality of education.
