Entrance Preview

GAT exam don't remember the exact score it was around 270 .I opted for this college as i was a locality plus had some trust on the management after looking at their past placement records in vizag.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

It is according to the industry standards and very good course structure well planned academics it has been a great experience overall studying at this college the professors are also very helpful you can reach out to them any time when in doubt they make you feel very comfortable in getting the concepts clear.

Internships Opportunities

No there is no internship within hyderabad campus but the professors do help you in getting internships elsewhere in the industry.

Placement Experience

3

At par with the best colleges in hyderabad placements are by far the best at Giram Hyd the best record i have known so far is 90% the training and placement cell is very good they take care of the overall growth of the student and ensure a smooth transition into the outside world.

College Events

4

The sports events are not that famous but the technical and cultural fest pramana is very famous. Many film stars come as guests and also they invite many famous music rock bands authors and other well known personalities from the industries all the students have a gala time during the fest there are many food stalls and other activities that kee going in parallely.

Fee Structure And Facilities

I would say it is expensive compared to other jntu affiliated colleges but they have a good placement record so if you re willing to shell a few more bucks it is a safe bet 6 years back the fees was 5 lakhs for 4 years excluding transport the transport fees is around 50k per year which is slights exorbitant you have an option of staying at hostel which is a better option.

Fees and Financial Aid

We get merit chm means scholarship for all eligible students who top d semester all nationalized banks offer loans for merit candidates with a minimum interest rate and also give a by offer period of 1 hear after passing out to re pay the loan.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Decent not too bad not great either they serve all cuisines south indian and north indian the food is cooked well and as per the choice of the student committee the menu is decide me by the students themselves. There is special food prepared on festivals and during other events such as fest or farewell or freshers.

Alumni/Alumna

The seniors are very friendly and helpful the alumni network is quite strong and many students get places in companies opened up by the alumni or where the alumni works.

Exam Structure

It is very balanced no heavy pressure if you follow the schedule wisely exam is not very tough to crack just keep cool and tackle it one by one it is pretty much like other competitive exams with a scoring pattern of +3 and -1 .Same as bitsat. You should be good to go if you have already prepped for bitsat.

Admission

Admissions open from dec its the same format at bitsat and the notify are available at gitam edu all the details are available there or you can also reach out to any of the faculty available on weekends to clarify any doubts pertaining to academics the administration is quite transparent.

Faculty

4.5

All the faculty have completed their m.tech and most of them have their Ph.D's tou can reach out to them any time when in doubt they make you feel very comfortable in getting the concepts clear there is no doubt that there are some really good teachers at this college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I like that the course doesn't feel outdated. Along with the regular subjects we spend a lot of time on coding, projects, and problem solving so it feels connected to what companies actually expect. As a second year student i already feel like i am building skills that i will be able to use during internships and placements and not just preparing for semester exams

Placement Experience:

No batch has graduated yet so there's no record of placement data yet. But more than 200 students got internships. Also the unique point of NIAT is students gets internships from their 1st year itself. NIAT has connection in the industry also its unique teaching style, this allows 1st year students to get internships. Although there is no pass out batch yet, still many people got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My college course curriculum is outdated .As im studying in computer science and engineering,i wpuld love to study about technological aspects and grow as a software engineering but in the course curriculam they teach my about mechanical workshops,There were no practical experience it jsut understanding the concept with theoritical part . i would love lo code but my college wastes entire time by helping with electricals, meachanical basics. i dont think is it really necessary for me understand in all the feilds they think that student should perform in all the fields as im in computer science and engineering student ,They should teach me more about coding and computer ,how it industries works and how these technology enhacning ,the arenot even explore about all these sectos they only teaching me about fundametals of all the subjects which is never useful for my studies . as i am in final year of btech i thought learning and deepdiving into computerscience and engineering subjects is more greater than learning all sector fundamentals,The area they need to improve is removing some of the oudated syllabus from their ciricullum and enhcing with the pratical experience not to teach only theoritical part. they have to teach all the areas with realtime examples. The timings of exams is very good .we do have 2 mid exams and one semester final exams for each sem and the subjects feels meduim level difficulty

Placement Experience:

The placements are comparatively more in this college, as there is more industry exposure. Students are eligible for placements from around 3-2 (3rd yr-II sem) to 4-2 (4th yr- II sem). Companies like Amazon, Cognizant, NCR often visit the campus. The highest package offered last year was 1.2 cr (International offer). Around 90% students who were eligible got placement. My plan is to get a decent package after the degree.

Placement cell is least active.. Few good companies like Infosys, amazon, TCS etc visited but the average package is of 1-2 LPA and only 25-30% of students whose all exams are cleared can sit in the placement cell. The highest package is of 8LPA. My plan is to move abroad for higher studies.. The students after completion of 6th sem can sit in placement cell

Students become eligible for campus placements after their 6th semester. The companies start visiting in 7th and 8th semesters. The companies are not much good and are mostly service based. So the placement statistics are also not much good. The highest placement last year was 10 lpa and the median placement was around 4.1 lpa. The placements were starting from 2.5 lpa. The better option for students is to apply for off-campus placements or start preparing for competitive exams
