Remarks

I chose this college because it is the nearest College to my home which consists a very good teaching staff in my course. The thing that I most like about this college is that is it's learning experience. The professors are very willing to help every student understand and they ensure to provide us with additional information beyond the syllabus to strengthen our learning foundation.

Course Curriculum Overview

The syllabus is in accordance with CBCS pattern under West Bengal State University. We are not yet exposed to industry yet. Apart from my course, the mathematics faculty is very good in terms of teaching.

Course Fees: INR 4230 per year

Since, I'm not very well informed about the placement conditions or procedures of this college, I cannot give any feedback regarding this issue.

The college holds a musical festival or a function once a year where they invite some famous musicians. There may be smaller events now and then. The college holds sports. They prepare for workshops sometimes.

Placement Experience:

I'm not sure but I think from 3rd year we will be eligible for placements. There are many finance companies, banks like HDFC, SBI, Canara,etc... & companies like TCS, Wipro, Capgemini, Deloitte, PWC,etc.... The highest package last year was like 9.64 LPA & in the year before it was 10 LPA while the average is around 2-2.5 LPA. Around 20% of the total strength gets placement. Even only few % of the total strength applies for the placements. My plan is to take a placement if I can or if not then off campusing and then gather work experience & do MBA later which will give me very benifits.

Placement Experience:

From Third semester, the students become eligible for campus placements. The companies like P360, EY, Deloitte, Tech Mahindra, Neutanix, BinaryWorks and few more visited our college for placements and mostly 15 to 20 offers were made Highest package was around 5 to 6 lpa 50% students were placed I am now preparing for govt jobs and side by side also applying for offcampuses. I have also given CUET for pursuing M. Tech

The hustles and joys of a college life.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I had chosen this course because of the Media and the lab facility, and my desire to understand the entire course in journalism and mass communication. The course that I took gave a bit more theoretical aspects rather than the practical ones. The practical ones were a bit less compared to theory ones. The areas I would suggest for improvement would be to encourage more assignments and provide more internship facilities to the students. The frequency of the exams for me was okay, and it was moderate, not difficult.

Studentsbecome eligible for placements from 7th semester. Various companies such as TCS, Infosys, Accenture, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Godrej, etc. come for placements. Earlier many offers used to come however in the recent years the number of offers made have reduced significantly. highest package comes around 10 to 11 lakhs per annum with average being 4-5 lakhs per annum. I have kept my options open after completion of degree in doing further studies that is Mtech or getting into a job whichever seems appropriate at the situation.

Students are eligible for campus placements from 7th sem. The names of comanies visited are TCS, Infosys, Capegimini,Tech mahindra etc. Some students Got 2 offer laters . Highest packages last year was 47 LPA (off Campus) 27LPA ( on campus). Average pakage was 5-6Lpa. The job role is Software Development. Percentage of Students Got placement is 92-95% In my Deoartment. Other is Around 70_90%. My plans to take placement from product based company.

I love computer science so I chose this department. The teaching in this department is very good and the labs are also very good. We have many exams in our semester.It would have been better if we had studied our theory paper a little better. I' will not apply any other colleges other than this because this college is very nearest for me I will also not apply any other colleges because they are also very similar curriculum like this college. I secured 76%marks in 12th board examination so that I have not done any much hardwork for addmission in this college. There not so much cutoff needed for admission.when you are qualified 12th board examination with a minimum 40% or 45% marks you can also apply and get admission in this college but you have to apply before seat gets filled....Read More
