College Review

I consider it as an average university as it lacks so many things. The management is not really good or helpful

The course curriculum is really good. We have 6 semesters in total, per year 2 semesters. The marks are divided into 80 marks for main semester and 20 marks for mid term exams per core subjects. Yes there are industrial visits organized for students of final years. All these provide us with proper knowledge but not groomed us effectively for campus placements.

There are companies like infosys, axis banks, Shoppers Stop, etc which comes for campus but there is no seriousness regarding the placements. The colleges doesn't bother much about the placements, they only inform us about the vacancies.

There are many events which are celebrated in our college. The events celebrated are annual day, spots events, freshers, farewell, Mr/Miss GMU, Ganesh Puja, Saraswati Puja and many more. Every year this events are celebrated with active participation of teachers and students. Even though some of the events becomes boring but most of the events are quite enjoyable

Its a government university the fee is really low as compared to other private institutions. Since BBA is a self financing course we have to pay little more as compared to other courses. Students can pay the fees within the given date through cash, debit/credit card, net banking, cheque or DD. We don't have to pay additional charge to secure an admission. The provides transparency in the fee breakdown.

I didn't not applied for any scholarship or education loan as the fees was quite affordable for me but students can apply for scholarship or education loan

I doubt have proper idea about the gender ratio but there is very less difference in the ratio. There are many workshops conducted by the university. There are also many competitions held such as debate, speech, dance, singing, etc. There is no discrimination regarding religion, race, sexual orientation, politics or economic status

I wasn't a hosteler so don't have much idea about hostel facilities. But the university has hostel facilities. There are separate hostels for boys and girls. The hostels are again divided into junior college, ug and pg. The rooms are sharing. There are also many pg nearby.

Don't have much knowledge about alumni network but our seniors were quite helpful and supportive. We got to learn so many things like managing, organizing, etc from them.

First, we have to fill the form first. Then the merit list will be published and we have to take admission according to the list. During admission, we have to pay the registration fee+ first-year admission fees which changes from time to time. I chose this course because it provides proper knowledge about business and administration. There is no specific date but the admission process starts from June till August.

I have no idea regarding the average age and qualifications. But most of the faculties are highly educated some have done p.hd in their respective subjects while some of have done masters. Only few teachers are there who are good at providing clarity. The lectures doesn't really hold any industry experience or certification.
