The new sunrise of Architecture

With the same pace it will achieve the best position in upcoming years. College provide every single possible thing to students, which is the best part of it since 2008 (Foundation Year).

I got admission in this college through AIEEE which is JEE now. I chose this college due to its name. i.e "SCHOOL OF PLANNING AND ARCHITECTURE", Bhopal. Its is an Institute of National Importance which is established by MHRD, India.

Course curriculum is framed in such a way that student gets to learn step by step with change of design topic in every semester. From basic design to other typical subjects, students get to learn more through educational trips related to different subjects. Till the thesis, students get to know many styles and faces of architecture including practical training for six months.

College do provide Internships and also helps in getting jobs outside the campus. Stipend varies between 5k-20k.

Placements in architecture in almost NIL in India. In our field, its a tradition that students have to search for jobs. Still training and placement cell keeps inviting reputed firms to the college for placements. 5-10 Students get placed every year.

College celebrates all festivals with full energy! Holi to Janmashtami, Republic day to teachers day! college always remains in festive mode! its has its own annual fest Synergy, this event is full of entertainment and learning. First ever Inter SPA Sports meet was also organised by SPA Bhopal in 2016.

Fee is not as high as other prime institutes of India. Total college fee is around 1.25 Lakh per annum it includes tuition, hostel and mess fee.Hostel fee is 12K and mess fee is 30K remaining is tuition fee. No other types of charges are applicable.

College is always very supportive in case of scholarships. Every year, top 7 students out of 60 gets around 50K scholarship. Students get loan in 2 days in the name of the college.

College has world class computer and GIS lab. It has its own workshop. Won Inter SPA sports tournament, students keep winning national and international design competitions.

Hostel and its room are spacious and clean. Mess food is one of the best in India! whole campus stays clean. Mess is in student's hand! they decide the menu and the vendor. Hostel and mess fee is around 40,000 per year. House keeping staff cleans mess, toilets, corridors on daily basis.

Everyone is well connected through social media and through Alumni Association. They keep meetings, stay in touch with each others, help in getting jobs and guide at every step.

There are total 10 semesters. Semester wise exams occurs in summers (April) and winters (Dec). One mid term exam occurs in between the semester. submissions and attendance also carry marks. Teachers always encourage and guide students for competitions also.

Faculty of college work hard to mold students. Its the handwork of faculties only, that students keep winning national and international competitions very frequently. They always arrange workshops and guest lectures for better learning. Practicing architects encourages the students and spread positivity in the campus.
