Remarks

It's a one of the best colleges in Mumbai for pursuing your postgraduates. You required good marks to get in to this college with the help of merit. Faculties are quite helpful and experienced. Also fees are quite affordable then other universities

Course Curriculum Overview

Syllabus was solely made to improve the student's practical knowledge. There are various visits, worshop to enhance our industrial exposure. Our HOD Ruchita Rane Ma'am has always engaged us in various worshops, visits and national conference.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 45500 per year

Placement Experience

There are no placement for Msc graduates in our college as such. But they do carry out various visits to national institutions which will help you get your desired job.Also during various visit you get offers for internship by the institutions.

College Events

Our college holds n number of activities, they have their annual fest. Each department organised their own fest. Like our biotech department has Biofest. Festival carnival is also organised by our college.

Campus Life

Campus infrastructure is quite good with well established libraries, canteen facilities and labs are also well equipped. Different labs are there for different departments equipped with advanced equipments.

The Real Experience: Strengths and Shortcomings of PCCOE

Placement Experience:

The college has a dedicated Training and Placement(T&P) cell and has regular recruitment drives that work to place students in companies where they will be values highly. Each year, 600-700 students are placed from all the branches. More than 300+ companies visit but the ones that hire are limited such as TCS, Capgemini, Infosys, Tech Mahindra which generally are mass recruiters that look for employees that will work for 3LPA or 4.5LPA. The highest packages go to about 30 to 40 LPA domestic and 61 LPA foreign but it is very rare to get a placement like this and requries considerable effort on the side of the student as well. Average package is 7 LPA for CS/IT branch; 5 LPA for electronics and telecommunications branch; 4 LPA for mechanical. My plan after getting the degree is working for 1-2 years while simultaneously pursuing masters.

My experience at Bharati Vidyapeeth.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to apply for placements from the seventh semester. Many Mass recruiters offer jobs to students in our college, some of them being- TCS, Cognizant, Accenture, ICICI Lombard and Capgemini Ai. The average package offered is a around 6LPA and usually the highest package is about 12LPA. Around 65-80% of the students get placed directly from college. I plan to pursue a career in my field after graduation.

The whole 10 days one day we have Garba other day we have dandiya we have singing competition, dancing competitions. We have a DJ night we have sports conducted on Ganesh festival. My Experience and Views of Patkar-Varde College

I applied to DG Ruparel but did not get in due to the cut-off being higher there as they only offer 30 seats. I applied to Patkar because the exam structure makes it a holistic application-based course. However, in other colleges 100 marks written exams are compulsory.
