Remarks

It's very good college and somaiya has it's very good reputation and sk somaiya's campus is great their teachers are great also it has very good canteen and the washrooms are so clean and also events are also great.

Course Curriculum Overview

My course sylabus is good it is up to date, and yes i provided industry exposure also the faculties are so great and there are so many faculties which are good tho like chorlate bregenza she so good teacher and also there so many techers.

Placements are so good my college have more than 99% placement average rate my college has big companies placement like L&T JP morgan so it's kinda so many many opportunities we got here andit proud to be get admission in this college.

College Events

Campus life is so great and so big events are also cunducted like udaan,maker mela,zenith etc technicality is also great then cultural day is also good and management festivals which my college holds is zenith,udaan etc and these are so big festivals and there are hundreds of students which participate in that.

Fees and Financial Aid

For now i don't any scholarships facility but there so many opportunities back then there are many poor students which were unable to pay any fees they are now doctor, engineer, lawyer, teachers etc. So there so many opportunities in my college we just havetakethat opportunity and use as carrier development.

Campus Life

My college infrastructure is so huge and it's so peaceful and there is so much greenery, and sports in my college is very great and productive there is big football ground and cricket ground and also basketball and vollyball ground unfortunately there is no free wifi in my colleg.e library is great there are two types of library in my college one is closed library with centralized ac and open library and there so many equipments also in labs.

DY Patil college is best for placement and coding environment

Placement Experience:

The placement is good in Y Patil College. Many companies are come for hiring a student. Most of students are placed in fourth year from fourth year. The companies are started to come in campus and higher students. Also, in a third year, Student want to get internship in any companies from campus and from outside of the campus internship is compulsory in third year last semester The company are come in my college are Amazon Google infosys Microsoft WIpro and other companies hire students The highest package of last year of AI and DS department is a 42 lakh higher by Amazon is the highest package of the last year placement. Also, the average packages are six lakh. The percentage of getting Student place in companies are nearly 92%

The college is best for placement and club activity

Placement Experience:

In my branch, the placement is good In 2025, 150 students are placed in Wipro, infosys, Amazon and Google like companies the minimum package is seven lakh. Also in my branch one Student it is placed in Amazon with 47 lakh rupees package in college. They already prepare Student for interviews and aptitude test. The placement cell is conduct aptitude test with the Google for students for each semester in that they test our coding skills, English skills and attitude test from that they give us a detail information in which skills are lacking and on which skill we want to work

Course Curriculum Overview:

Strong academic legacy with expereinced faculties and balanced content- preparing you for future studies and entrance exams and olympiads. very much strict, i would say not needed. somehwere you may experience baised behaviour; but when you are focused on gaining knowledge then these things dont matter as its only a matter of three years. Relevance of course is there but for applying for further studies not for that much for job prospects, if you want atleast a decent salary job.

Placement Experience:

I have rarely seen companies coming to our college for placement purposes for our course but I have seen companies coming for BCOM and BCA. I don't know about my course as I am currently in my second year. The percentage of students getting placements are veryess as my friend from third year said that out of 150 students only 10 students got placed this year which is very less compared to other colleges. My plans after getting the degree is if I got a job in any of the it company I will do it for experience and side by side I am planning to pursue my education in MSC CS

I applied to KJ and Rizvi as well and got confirmation from Rizvi, but after comparing it with SK Somaiya in aspects such as sports and curriculam, SK Somaiya was the best fit for me. So basically I wanted to join somaiya Vidyavihar only it was a dream college for me and the process was like we have to apply or registered online on their portal then you all have to wait for the merit list if your name is there they then you will get a mail for the admission process where you will get an so my as mail id which is for educational purpose or any details or any information about the college or about the campus the svv net ID portal which will be provided in the mail from there you have to fill the form and you have to pay the fees online offline is not allowed like everything you have to pay online and after that when you will go to the college you have to collect your ID's before that you have to take appointment in that portal only in the ID Card section and then you will get an ID from the college campus...Read More
