Remarks

The brand image of NMIMS is top notch. The Placement assistance in the college is also very well established. The alumni i.e the students received an average package of 5.5 lakhs. The freshers are given an platform to showcase their talent in front of the respective companies.

Course Curriculum Overview

B.pharm + mba is an unique technical course of 5 years. The course syllabus is quite hectic but it is well prepared upto industry standards. You can carve out a great career from this technical course. The facilities are top notch and they all have already worked in pharmaceutical industries before. They make themselves always available to you in need of doubt clearance. One faculty I could think of with an amazing amount of technical knowledge was Dr.Amit page.

Internships Opportunities

Docrosh Health, Market research on digital practices by doctors and promotion of healthcare services, stipend was about 5k per month. The internship process is same as applying for final placements. Students to through aptitude, GD and PI.

Placement Experience

The brand image of NMIMS comes with good amount of companies coming for placements. Some top pharma companies like Glenmark, Cipla, AstraZeneca, Zuventus, Lupin,etc came for placement assistance. The Placement department have done a quite good work. The job profile are as follows: Marketing, Sales, Market research,etc. The alumni network is also working very fine and lot of new companies even opted for coming for placement assistance and acquiring exciting and talented freshers.

College Events

Campus Life was amazing. There are lot of extracurricular activities being carried out such as: Protsahan and ishthamus-urja. The students are very serious and competitive in regards of the extracurricular activities being carried out. Treasure hunt, quiz, Poster making are some of the events carried out but there are many more. Participation comes from other pharmacy colleges as well.

Campus Life

The classrooms are well spacious and fully air conditioned. Wifi facilities are available but with restrictions. Size of the Library is guite good and every book is available there. The labs where practicals are performed are also very top notch.

Review for Government Polytechnic, Pune. The dream college for all Punekars.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements after the 4th sem. Many companies visit and at least one person is hired by every company. Companies from UAE and international companies also make offers. Highest package was 9 lpa and average is 3.5-4 lpa. Only 5-10% students go for a job, others go for higher studies. I am too looking for a part time job with continuing higher studies. Overall the campus placement is good for students looking for a good job and pay. Most get hired as Assistant engineers.

Microbiology is mainly lab based work but it also teaches you other worldly things , the reason behind me choosing Bsc microbiology to do from ruia is because , once i had a talk to an alumni of ruia in which she mentioned that microbiology from ruia is basucally equal of engineering from an IIT. In microbiology particularly i would say the difficulty level is a bit high but only if you don't pay attention to daily lecs and practicals

Placement Experience:

Currently I am in first year so I have not been placed as of yet but the placemnets for our seniors is on going which is the first batch of MBA HCM and hence I would not be able to reveal the cokmpanies. The few summer internship companies though were Apollo, Nanavati, BMJ etc.

Review of NMIMS: MBA Pharmaceutical Management

The NMAT test can be taken up to three times each year, with the best of the three results counting. Any bachelor or above Pharma/Biotech graduate with a minimum of 50% marks can apply for the program provided they clear the cut off of the NMAT examination. On the official website of NMIMS, the application form can be found along with important dates. A certain amount of cost is required to be submitted (last year it was 2500/-). NMIMS College Overall Review

The course required a three- or four-year bachelor's degree to be eligible. The NMAT and NMIMS application forms were available on their official website. There were no specific incentives for reservations, and work-ex was not required, however, it did add value to personal interviews. The total application costs were roughly Rs 3000, and the dates would be announced on the website. We may take the test three times in a year because it was an adaptive test with no negative marks. I took the NMAT test and received a score of 246, the cut-off for the 2021-23 cohort was 235. In addition, the individual cut-off was set at 76. Following the exam, the selected candidates were given a WAT test and a PI. A total of 1300 candidates were selected for the final selection, with around 600 of them enrolling in MBA programs at NMIMS in Mumbai.
