Remarks
I opted this course so that I can start a business in agriculture field and related. I heard that only coimbatore campus has this course where both agriculture and businesses management is combined. I think choosing this college was a mistake because we are prepared as sacks that are supposed to lay in a corner. There is no proper structure in certain aspects of action carried out. We are prepared as losers rather than winners some time.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is good and vast. The faculties are well trained in their respective fields. Many faculties are student friendly and are very supportive. Certain faculties are not in the 2020 era. They don't treat the college as a co - Ed. As for the course it a good blend of both agriculture and business with enough knowledge on both field.
Placement Experience
It is not that great because most of the students opt to various other options in jobs like civil service exams and bank exams. Many opt to higher education and some for other competitive exams. It depends on the individual student to take up the placements.
College Events
It was rather not a pleasant life to lead in the campus. A lot of time is dedicated to the college and there is lack of personal space or need for any individual student. Many occasions are celebrated and there is a good amount of participation in each one. Every department gets to conduct a management events with participants from various colleges. There is a liberty to conduct events. There is no extra curricular activities that a student can do because all the time is spent on the college or for the college. Very few people who manage time get to do extra curricular activities.
Campus Life
The sports facility is not that great and favorism over seniority is high. The general conduct of the student in aspect of sports discipline is not good. There is a lot of taboo in aspects of dressing for both the male and female. The infrastructure in cases of hostel is very poor and a unhygienic place to live. The kitchen is not maintained properly and neither is the restroom in many places of the campus. It has good facilities in all the labs for both experiment and research. The library is very vast and has numerous books on agriculture and all the related fields. there is a lot to improve in the infrastructure aspect.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facilities are very bad and unhygienic place to live. The toilets are not clean and many basins broken or needs serious repair. The rooms are in bad condition and the kitchen is very unhygienic. There are street dogs roaming in and around of the hostel and living in the kitchen as well.
