Remarks

I wanted to do an integrated BALLB and not every college gives this course to the students in India. I gave the CLAT examination to get into an NLU but could not clear it which is why private colleges were the only option. Among the private law schools, Symbiosis Noida is a great choice. First factor is the location- being close to Delhi the students have an advantage for their internships which are an important part of the lives of law students. Delhi has both the courts and the firms to offer internships to students. Secondly, the moot court arrangements are quite good at Symbiosis. I had heard that the faculty is quite understanding and experienced in their field. The law school not only focuses on theoritical studies but also practical aspects. It provides all the required books to the students and also has a well built library. It also provides the students with resources online like Manupatra and SCC online to do legal research. The infrastructure is also fine.

Course Curriculum Overview

I have to study a total of 6 to 8 subjects in one semester so I would say the course structure is quite good and elaborate. I have both subjects of BA and courses related to LLB. Along with this we have Ethics as a subject and even a foreign language we can choose to study. These extra courses help in over all development. Apart from getting assessed in the theory subjects, we have to do two mandatory internships in a year for which we are marked and I believe that is really helpful to all students as internships are a must for law students. We do get enough industrial exposure although being a private college and that too a small one, we cannot get enough of everything. The faculty is quite experienced and hard working. They teach students with full dedication and they do take classes- not just sit around and take attendance. I have never come across a faculty member who went on a leave. Moreover, substitutions are provided for every subject.

Placement Experience

4

BALLB is a recently made popular course and is mostly famous in the National Law Universities. Talking about the private colleges, campus placement is only available in a few. So in my college, campus placement is not really possible however two or three students do get into the top firms of the country right after graduation. The rest have to apply on their own for jobs. The college does give good recommendations to all. The alumni network is not strong but is helpful enough. The seniors are helpful and give some great information on academics and career. The placement department works hard to ensure that every student gets an opportunity to work.

College Events

3

The campus life is fun as we keep having monthly cultural evenings where every student has to get dressed according to a theme and then attend college- study, participate in fun games and activities and dance in the evening. We also have movie nights every month so the children can engage in social gatherings. Besides this, symbiosis organises an annual fest known as the SYMFIESTA where famous celebrities like Hardy Sandhu, Kaneez Surka, Rahul Dua, DJ Shadow are invited to perform on stage and it is a 3 day fest with lots of food, games and shows. It goes on from the day to night and other schools and colleges participate in it. The activities range from plays, treasure hunts, debates, mock trails, dance, fashion shows, talent shows, singing and bands, etc.

Campus Life

The campus is green, clean and well built but small. We do not have a sports field or a ground or even a pool. So, the sports facilities are not available except a basketball court and badminton. However, we do have an annual sports fest that takes place in the Noida Stadium. The college encourages sports people and arranges practice grounds for them outside college at all costs. There is a college wifi which can only be used for research work and not for social media. There is a library where you will get everything you need from law books to papers to novels but it is small in size so not many people can sit together. There are labs for research and meeting rooms. The classrooms are spacious and fully air conditioned with every student having his or her own individual chair for comfort.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It covers the core subjects like programming languages (C, Java, Python basics), data structures, DBMS, networking, and web development, providing a basic foundation in computer applications. However, the curriculum may not be fully up to date with current industry trends like advanced Python, cloud computing, machine learning, or modern frameworks. In terms of comprehensiveness, it is suitable for beginners, but students aiming for competitive placements or tech roles will need to supplement it with online courses, certifications, or personal projects.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is more inclined towards a theoretical side and lacks practical exposure. In the present scenario, having practical knowledge is a must if you want to survive in the industry, which my college didn't prepare me for. However, there are various opportunities across the campus. We have AIC inside the campus, which may offer an internship to the students if they reach out to them.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placements from the 3rd year. The placement of the college is decent. The average package for tech branches stands at 4-5 LPA. Most of the offers are made from mass recruiters like TCS, cognizant, etc. However, product-based companies also visit the campus but very few students get short-listed for them. The highest package for the 2025 batch was around 22 lakhs from JP morgan in which 2 students got placed. Microsoft also offered a package of 18 LPA. The placement percentage is around 50-60%. If you maintain 8+ CGPA and have the fundamentals clear then you can definitely secure a decent package from this college. The placement department of the college is supportive.
