Remarks

The course that I wanted to go for was English literature and Sophia college has the best faculty for English all over Rajasthan. And I have been a Sophia all my life so the charm was just unavoidable.

Course Curriculum Overview

The syllabus is getting better with time though as compared to the scope of UGC NET the syllabus is very small but the scope of NET is wide and cannot be narrowed down to academic syllabus but the effort the dedication and the knowledge level of the faculty is beyond praise. I have never had teachers like this before they appear to me like walking God's of literature. Tha faculty is just amazing.

Internships Opportunities

No I do not have an internship but I do have a full time job at Procaffenation.com with which I came into contact via intershala internships though.

We do have an Entrepreneur Cell actively working in the college and there are various activities and workshops conducted throughout the year to groom the students and there are plenty of seminars conducted by external educators or experts on various fields. We also have an awesome alumni network. This year only Sophia School had a centenary year and we observed females coming from all over the world to have a walk down the memory lane.

College Events

Extracurriculars you just have to pull up your socks there is no activity that you won't find. It's you who has to buckle up and cope up because college offers plethora of extracurriculars, events and activities. I am sure you will end being tired of taking part but the activities won't end. That is the beauty of Sophia a platform for each and every one.

Fees and Financial Aid

I haven't availed any and neither do I have any idea but since it is operated by a charitable trust i.e mission sisters of Ajmer I am sure there might be some.

Campus Life

In my two years of post graduation there hasn't been a corner in the college where I despised my college. The infrastructure is so soothing and there is a different vibe there. And recently there has been a construction of Indoor stadium. Trust me I have seen one of this kind for the first time in my life and I have seen it being constructed. I feel proud that I have been a part of this development somehow.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility is available for the under graduates and yes there is this thing about Sophia, it's discipline. The campus hostel does not allow a regular use of mobile phones but trust me there are so many activities that you won't even get time to miss your mobile phone. And yes for the post graduate students you do not have campus hostel facility but the near by vicinity offers a lot of PG's to stay. The best one is Shree Om PG. But the area is very calm, civilized and convenient to live and the college is really close. So even if you get late you can run and you will reach college on time.

Likes

the class timings are really flexible that is maximum 5 hours in a day
there are a lot of fun events in college every other day
the male to female ratio is approx 1:1 and both genders jam well with each other

Dislikes

the money factor i would say is one thing which doesnt add up if placements are considered
the freedom provided here might not be the best for everyone u need to have self control over yourself
people here can get too entitled and the pda inside might bother you but you will find your people

the cirriculum is designed in a way such that most of the outdated and uselss things are removed this year and the labs of each subjects help you well enough to dive deeper into the application of the subject . some areas for improvement can be removing unnecessary subjects like manufacturing process for cse students . main exams are held every 3 months and the difficulty is moderate

The faculty is very helpful and they will often clear doubts
There are a lot of fests and lot of opportunities for the students to show their skills
Teaching methods are good and they will always take feedback

Dislikes

Sometimes the subjects are a little bit difficult to cope with
It is mostly research heavy which makes it slightly difficult

The faculty member are knowledgeable and supportive. They help students in academic as well as practical learning
The College Campus is clean and provide a good learning environment.

Palacement opportunity can be improved by inviting more companies to the campus
More practical workshop and industry interaction.
Some administrative take time and could be made more efficient

Course Curriculum Overview:

The courts circulum covers the basic concept well and helps student understand the subject however some topic we love dated and there should be more focused on practical learning and industry is relevant skills. The exam are conducted regularly and are murdered difficultly over ruled the courts is useful but it can be improved by adding more hands on training and updated content

Journey in Few Words

Likes

The place is not only promoting studies they are also promoting the Talent by organising various events where they learn and develop other skills.
The Girls to Boy ration is good - 40:60.
The campus is also fine not very premium not very bad. If you're a good place in budget constraints you can opt for this.

Dislikes

They are little focused more towards money. for example when there is attendance less than 75% still if Student pay the fees they allow him to sit in exam.
Teachers can be more better. My experience with the staff is not very amazing. A lot of time i corrected some the teachers for certain topics

Placement Experience:

- Here the placements starts in the beginning of the 4 year. Campus placements are offered and it's not bad. Even we'll get some internship opportunities in 4 year before college ends - In my year the highest package is 14LPA in Mahindra

I like my college dress structure their no any boundation
Compus of my college is good and also structure

Girl over boy ratio is very less which also put impact on interaction with another gender
Teaching techniques of over faculty in my college the just scroll the pdf and tell about topics
Result delay is very common problem in my college

Placement Experience:

Form 5 th semester students become eligible for compus placement. Tcs , wipro ,infosys, jk cement, wonder cement these companies visited and they provide average package 4 to 5 lack per year. Through past record highest package is around 33 lack and average package 4 to 5 lack per year Minimum percentage for Good company is 7 cgpa . My plan after getting The degree is i go for masters in technology

An overview of MNIT

Likes

Being a Government national college, the diversity is very vast and it helps us understand about the different communities and cultures.
The college provides very educated professors who help you achieve your passion and enhance your vision. They provide information regarding the books you could refer which usually doesn’t happen in other colleges or universities.
The college assigns a group of 10 students to a particular mentor who guides you not only through technical vision but also in the mental health of the student.

Dislikes

Being a south indian, I wasn’t fluent in hindi. This made a hinderence to my study life. But the professors started explaining each class in english later on after my request
The less number of placements could be an issue
The end time for girls is 10pm which is according to me a decent timing. But I think they should atleast let the parcels come past the college main gate after 10. Because the boys can collect it from there but the girls cannot.

Placement Experience:

There are campus placements provided by the college. Students shall be adopting for placements in their final years. The visited companies are Apple, JP Morgan, Meesho, DE Shaw, Salesforce, Adobe, Airtel, Amazon, Bajaj motors and so on. Highest salary id 64LPA, average is 18.39LPA for the CSE branch. The overall percentage of students getting placed is 82% for both BTech and BArch with an average package of 13.2LPA. I shall be trying to get placed.

The facility members are very supportive
Healthy environment and anti raging college
Studies are also upto the mark and the area of college is so nice

Dislikes

Fees is little bit too high but according to the facility it's pretty good
You have to be punctual or you will be sent home
Always follow rules and regulations and if you don't you will be sent back or asked to leave the college

Placement Experience:

From 6 semester you become eligible for the placement the companies visited the college are the oberoi Uday Vilas trident in many more big companies have visited The highest package after you completed the internship and get the permanent job can be around 18 lakhs per year if you go abroad hand in India you can get up to 10 15 lakhs according to your work you do in the company The percentage of students getting placement as 95% After I get the degree I get the internship from the college and then the placement

Course Curriculum Overview:

The exam is conducted on time. No issues with that. The difficulty can be subjected. 80% of the paper is from the syllabus that is taught. 20% can be there to test your knowledge. Total 3 exams will be there. No semester system. Final exams carry the most weight. Have 20 marks mcq and 80 marks theory.

Best college to enhance your personal growth

Sophia girls college was my first preference. And lucky I got the admission in this college. Because in Ajmer it is the one of best college and specially for girls it is at number one in Ajmer. This college is really focused on student academics but also it focuses on student development like personality development and enhance the skills of the student. I don't apply any another college because I really want this college only . In Sophia girls college the fees is less as compared to other high collages and also there is a reputation of Sophia College is good . Admission process is of percentage based. Three list has come according to your percentage in 12 th or 10th they consider 12 marks mainly and atleast you should have 60 percent. And you are eligible. I didn't applied to any other college. I filled the Sophia college form Online from sophia website. It was very easy process. There was no exams if you apply you will get admission. Then pay the college admission fees.
