Remarks

SVIT is a reputed institution which has completed 22 years of excellence. The college infrastructure is very suitable and is renovated regularly. The college stands 6th among all the colleges of Gujarat Technological University. Excellent placements are offered on campus. Academic faculties are upto mark.

Course Curriculum Overview

There are 9 courses of 7 for degree Engineering, 1 for MCA and 1 Architecture course. The Engineering syllabus is as per the ones prescribed by Gujarat Technological University. Academic faculties offered by college are pretty impressive. Digital classroom, Doubts clearing session are some unique features. The Industrial exposure is effectively provided through expert talks and industry trips. Computer department faculties are very supportive.

Excellent placements are offered to computer engineering students. Every Year nearly 100 companies visit for the on campus placements. The companies are mainly based from Gujarat state. The training and placement cell very proactively organises aptitude tests, coding rounds, GDs and personal Interviews to prepare the students for on campus placements. College supports innovative ideas of students and promotes various startups.

There is a National technical fest of SVIT. It is well know by the name of Prakarsh. This is being celebrated since last 16 year at SVIT, where many students all over the nation come to college and participate in various events. The accommodation facilities are provided by the college authorities. There is even one Inter-departmental fest, well known by the name Vision. It's celebrated every year in mid of September month.

Current Details of SVIT

Honestly I targeted SVIT, because it was near by vadodara, easy to travel and timings were also good enough to get adpoted with. The fews structure and environment their is much better than other colleges. The admission process is through ACPC, vacant quota, management quota and SC/ST quota. I got admission through vacant quota after 2nd round of ACPC. The cutoff for ACPC in Computer Engineering at my admission time was 5000. And for vacanct quota it was extended to 9000 after 3rd round of ACPC . The admission process was smooth. Also every year, mock GUJCET is taken in college and top scorer gets waiver on fees ....Read More

The SVIT journey

I applied in PDPU(PDEU) and Lj university ahmedabad. I chose this college because 1) It is one of the best and renowned college inour region 2)The feels is comparatively too less.Yes my application in Nirma University(ahm) got rejected because i couldn't clear the cutoff of CSE of that college.The admission process in SVIT is simple you if youre alloted seat through ACPC or you need to visit the campus for management quota.The exams required here are 12th PCM and GUJCET or JEE.The exam most preferred here is GUJCET as it is simpler than JEE the cutoff of SVIT for CE was 7000 rank (GUJCET) this year....Read More
