Remarks

Its a good private college in both Bihar and Jharkhand. It's a best college for engineering if you don't want to leave your state.If you can leave your state then choose other states or colleges of other state for your higher education.

Course Curriculum Overview

Academics and facilities are excellent even better than nits & bits faculties. In 2017 it was under the kolhan University but now it is under the Jharkhand technical university.There are some professor who are narrow minded but some good too.

Not so good.tata steel,vedantu,byju's, cognizant,wipro etc are the companies that usually come to our college for placement and internship.

College Events

Campus Life is quite boring because there is only two cultural or technical events celebrated in the college known as "frolic"-sports day (December) and another is "provenance"-techno-cultural fest(march - April).

Fees and Financial Aid

1.College also provide scholarship on the basis of your semester marks. 2.If you are obc,st or sc then you will also received the scholarship provided by Jharkhand Government.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel is not so good.warden's nature is intolerable.she will always nag with you even interfare in your personal life too.Too much restrictions.If you belongs to open minded family then it will be so hard for you(female) to live in the hostel peacefully.you can't even walk in your own campus.you can't even go out without permission form your parents.

Hostel Fee: INR 30000 per year

A Real Student Experience at DEC

Course Curriculum Overview:

I feel the course curriculum is okay and the basics are covered well, which is one reason I choose this branch, but some subjects feel outdated and not fully connected to real industry work. It prepare us for further studies more than practical jobs. Exams come every semester with internals in between, difficulty is moderate but few papers become tricky. I think more practical topics, updated labs and better teaching methods will make the curriculum more useful...

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum exam ready for students of mechanical engineering it focuses on industrial level exposure and for other competitive exams like gate and IES with good faculty who teaches almost all concepts. There are labs for each subject in which we get real world application knowledge. Also course is updated regularly as per the requirement of industry . The course can we improved by making course more practical rather than a writing all things on practical it should include project for students. Frequency of exam is that in every 15 days there is a exam with moderate to difficult level.

Placement Experience:

7th Semester students become eligible for placements. The highest package is offered by Rubrik in 2025 of 1.41 CR(domestic) High paying jobs are mostly for SWE/SDE roles. Percentage of students getting placed in CSE/AIML is 75, ECE 69, EEE 60, Mech 58. My plans after gettting degree is to get into job sector only for a while. No such higher education plans as such.

At BIT Mesra third is like full of practice for placements and final year more of placements activities than studies. So, when all these things are in order placements obviously will be more or less certain and here they are certain only with almost 90% students are places through campus with annual placements of 8-10 lakhs per annum.

According to my perspective or point of view students initiate preparing for placement cells in 3rd year ( 5th semester). The highest package of our college is 14 LPA And average package is 3.4 LPA. Approx 72 %students got placed in different different companies like tcs, wipro, accenture etc.

A Genuine Review

Placement Experience:

From 5th Semester onwards student are eligible for internship but from 7th semester they are allowed to sit in campus. Various companies like PayPal, Wipro , cognizant ,TCS ,Genpact ,Amdocs etc. Highest Package this year is 35 lpa and Average Package is around 7.5 lpa. Around 90% of students from circuital branch and around 80% students from non-circuital branch has been placed so far this year. My plan is prepare very smartly for campus placements and bag a very good PPO from are tech based company.

Placement Experience:

One of my colleges best features is its placements program, which offers fantastic chances for students to launch their carrers. In the fifth and sixth semesters, students are prepared with aptitude training sessions, group discussions, and resume construction. About 85% of qualified pupils were placed during the previoes school year. Compared to core engieering fields, placements rates were marginally higher in IT branches.

The admission process was offline. forms has to be filled up which cost 1000rs as registration. application form is available on the main building of the college in 2nd floor. There was no minimum marks for admission we only need to qualify 12th. Admission was taken through councelling of jharkhand combined exam and jcece. We had been called according to our rank in jcece exam. We had been called on different days and different tome slots. At that process we were asked to choose our preference of colleges.
