Remarks

I choose this university as it provides all the necessary facilities required by a student. The labs are well-equipped and the students are also very helpful and supportive. The teaching staff is also wonderful.

Course Curriculum Overview

My opinion on the course curriculum, academics and faculties is that they are really very good for the students of the campus. Our course syllabus was totally updated. Yes, we are provided enough industrial exposure.

Placement Experience

The placements and job opportunities are so much good and beneficial. The college provides good placement. Many companies visited every year. The students provide good platform for showing their skills and knowledge.

College Events

The campus life, events, extracurricular activities etc. all are really very amazing. The campus life is the best life. All events held in campus are celebrated with joy and happiness. Mostly students participate in them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum are updated bi-annually, which is a great thing as it keeps the subjects relevant to the industry standards. The semesters can become quite hectic after the first internals as each subjects have 2 components. The timing to submit both is close.

The best college for study

Course Curriculum Overview:

Obviously this physics course is tough but the influence of the teachers and other staff made us too motivated and the systematic exam schedule helped us to complete our portion before the exams and there is some more time for the revision purpose.. There teaching method are so useful and they treat us so politely and in friendly nature. So its too easy to clear doubt and feel comfortable to ask them and clear anything.. Life at IITPKD

Remarks:

JEE Rank was the main factor. The facilities like hostel, labs, etc mentioned in the IIT Palakkad website. During the allotment process, one senior girl student of my branch contacted me and cleared all my doubts whether it was small or big, placement details, etc. After the rankings were released, based on the previous years cut-off ranks, I was able to get a fair idea about the colleges I would be able to join among all the IITs, NITs, IIITs. Based on JEE Mains rankings, NIT or IIITs can be chosen. Based on JEE Advance ranking, IIT can be chosen. Also, 2 mock allotment will take place which gives a fair idea of which allotment we will get. These mock allotment will be based on our preferences. We can change them after the mock. Then the actual allotment will start. Once we finalise our preferences and lock them, there will be 7 rounds of allocation. 3 options will be given in each round-Float, Freeze,Slide (details will be clearly mentioned in the website). Once you are allocated a seat in any round, document verification will take place (seat acceptance fee must be paid at this stage).
