Jain college is known to conduct a host of events right from celebrating new year to Christmas day or celebrating Freshers' day to Convocation day.A host of sports events include:Inter and Intra college cricket tournaments, Football tournaments, Snookers, Chess, Cycling race, etc.Other events like: Independence day celebrations, Republic day celebrations, Jayanti Celebrations, Regular fests, etc.The student participation is also in big numbers.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee is feasibly expensive. It purely depends on the stream you choose. However, at a personal level, I feel the fee structure is on the higher end compared to other commerce colleges in Bangalore. The fee structure varies from anything between Rs. 50, 000 to Rs. 120, 000 per annum for different streams in Commerce.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Jain college hostels established over 15 years with just 34 students and 6 staff members. And today it comprises of 9 entities with over 180 staff members and proudly shelters over 800 students and serves around 3200 plates of food a day.To ensure safety, there are 24 hours resident wardens along with round the clock security guard at the door step. For distant hostel, there is scheduled free bus facility. The food it serves is hygienic and nutritious pure vegetarian north Indian food as majority of the students staying in the hostel are from north India. And for the convenience of the students/parents, the hostel fees can be paid in 3 installments.

Exam Structure

The exams are very well structures.6 semesters in total span of 3 years (i.e., 2 semesters per year). Each semester having 6 to 8 subjects. The structure is very simple and student friendly.2 unit tests in a span of first 4 months and a semester exam in the 5th/6th month of each semester.

Faculty

4

The faculty staff is amazing. They have an engaging personality and teaching style with clear objectives for lessons and passion for teaching. The faculties have the willingness to always improve with a lot of humility and ability to collaborate with students. One important character most of the faculties have is effective discipline skills and they promote positive behaviors and change in the classroom.Ps: My personal favourite faculty was Suresh L.
