Likes

aura ,competitive mindset ,faculties teachers are the best part
placements are good , people are very helpful
glam college people are filled with colorful dresses

Dislikes

parking is a problem for the college need more space
library is limited with books closes very soon
fees is very high now hostel fees are also high.

A best College for better future.

Likes

College faculty are friendly and they support in every way possible.
Friendly environment which helps to focus on studies.
As the college in centre of Bangalore it is easy to access every place.

Dislikes

There is nothing to dislike in that college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I was doing CA it was better for me to opt this course as it would be better to have a degree with a certification. Teaching methods in this college are practical , everything will be explained practically. Exams would be conducted every 6 months and internals will be in 2month intervals and difficulty level will be moderate.

College is good enough and it has activities
Has badminton court and confrence rooms and sufficient classes
Teachers do complete their courses on time

Dislikes

Less people in class rooms as it is evening so people don’t attend much
Limited activities and limited opportunities
As per the fees the interior of the college is not that good

So the course offered by the college has may option in choosing the subjects every semester. One could obtain the option and choose according to that. The course has advance levels of accounting also which os used in courses like CA CFA CMA. But some subjects are not good it is just for the test of the students

The faculty of the college is really supportive and helps the students in all ways possible
The exams are conducted with the morning batch students so there is no difference as such

Dislikes

The college is very small it is only limited to the first floor
More placements and internship should have been provided

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum was as per the Bengaluru City University standards. It was just that the college timings were in the evening rest the exams were to be written with the regular batch students of jain college which is right behind the evening college. The course curriculum is good, and completed on time.

Why SBMJEC is a boon for people pursuing professional courses.

Likes

For people studying for competitive exams or for professional courses in the field of commerce, this college is a heaven.
Attendance is not to worry about, you get full attendance without even attending a single class
Internal Marks are always given full no matter what, they might tell you to write assignments but even of you don't, you get your internal marks that too maximum marks

Dislikes

Teachers are highly unqualified. You might not get the opportunity of quality education
The staff in the office are arrogant and often scream at students

The curriculum followed is the curriculum set by the university board of karnataka, so it's basic and simple. The Relatablity of the curriculum and my Ca course is very much, that is what drew me to choose this college. The exams are very easy and the course also keeps in mind the real world applications as well

The faculty and the principal do look after the students issues
The events conducted and the regular seminars

Likes

The environment and the maintenance are good and excellent
We don't have ragging and other problems ,especially we have separate path way for boys and girls
We have canteen facilities and good water facilities

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose the B.Com course since I am interested in the banking sector and practical subjects. As I expected the faculties are also good at explaining the concept very clearly. The faculty teach us each and every concept.

Likes

The college has a great vending machine which has snacks i like personally
Faculty is great and their methods to teach is different
The college is quite old but the infrastructure is on top and we wouldn't feel any discomfort

Dislikes

The campus is too small compared to most of the colleges
There are not much fests conducted compared to say colleges

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placements after the 5th semester as far as I know. I wouldn't know about the companies as I'm still studying. My plans after getting the degree would be to have a great job with a good amount of salary and not with work pressure.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement - in this college placement was really good . Campus selection may happen from 5th semester . Before placement lectures will train how to attend interview and boost up confidence . Companies like P&y and much more. Package till 8 LPA. Around 60 to 70% students will get placed.
