Entrance Preview

I took CET Karnataka exam, scored a rank around 10,000 & I selected BNMIT because it was within Bangalore City.

Course Curriculum Overview

B.E. in Computer Science course was for 8 semesters, 2 semesters per year. First year was common for all the streams, from second year onwards the subjects were different.

Placement Experience

Placements were good, many companies came & around 70% students were selected in campus. The remaining students got placed in walkins outside during the college tenure only in companies like TCS, Accenture etc.

College Events

College had events like Annual Day. We had Nature Club etc. There were singing & dance competitions.

Fee Structure And Facilities

For Karnataka students fee structure was feasible - around 10,000 to 15,000 per year. I was on non-karnataka quota so my fees was 45,000 per year.

Campus Life

There were seperate boys & girls hostel, each hostel had warden. The charges for hostel were 5000 per month including food & rent. There were no hostel parties.

Hostel Facilities

I stayed in hostel for almost 3.5 years out of 4 years & those were the best days. You make new friends, study & enjoy with them. The hostel food was nice & manageable.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

We were the second batch, does'nt have enough interaction with seniors. There was no ragging, seniors whom I have interacted with were helpful.

Exam Structure

There will be one main exam for each subject in the semester - at the end of the semester. During the semester we had 3 internal tests, which are required to be passed & marks from that will be added to the main exams.

Faculty

The faculty was very good & helpful. Each department has HOD (Head of the Dept), the knowledge of the teachers are experienced & they were very helpful.

AN ABSOLUTELY PAISA VASOOL COLLEGE TO BE IN.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum seems to be a little outdated as we were following the VTU syllabus. But since 2024, our college has become an Autonomous College and since then, most of the outdated syllabuses were replaced with newer, required contents. And we have exams regularly, every month. This helps us alot in preparing for our final exams.

From 6th semester students eligible for campus placements, japanese and boeing are visited but from aeronautical engineering japanese gave only one offer but boeing 0 offers from aero.highest package is 66000 per month and average is 25000 70% of the students are getting placed After getting the degree i would like to do job

Out of the box i am not learning anything except the exam study materials. Everyone are like CGPA matters a lot but what about skills ? I felt like being a bookworm is something useless and in this real world its not necessary

Course Curriculum Overview:

Teaching methods should be change. They should teach from the scratch in every subject. So that students can eadily able to understand the concepts and implementation in real world. The topics they cover in class is not very detailed and facing difficulty by students for understanding.

So after 4 th sem campus placements get started and many companies have visited our college like microsoft,wipro, reliance AI,etc.The average package is 18lakhs, and the highest package is 27 lakhs per year.

Again as it's a new campus a very small batch of students have made it to the final year as of now. It seems that the first batch of students have the highest package of 50lakhs from nvidia, and the cse department is having an average of 14L per annum

Open Spaces giving birth to Creative Minds

Remarks:

It is spread over several acres, hence giving a lot of creative freedom. Love the breathing space in the campus. The infrastructure is excellent.Good library, canteen, medical facilities, cyber cafe, parking facilities.Finally, I would recommend Dayananda

Bnmit overall review by 1st year

I actually could have gone to iit but I ignored cbse and couldn't complete the 75% criteria,due to cbse my kcet rank went down, according to my rank this is the best college and course I can get,yeah I got rejected by iit cuz I got 67%, I don't know about other admission process mine was due to kcet u have to either pay challan in bank or online of rupees 107500,after that u have to download the admission order and go to the college submit the necessary documents and pay 27500 admission fee in which u will get ur stationary,a artic fox customised bag, library accessibility,etc my branch cutoff was around 65k...Read More
