It is top private college in India with reasonable fees and also here the placements are very good. If you have caliber you will easily get a placement. It is situated in silicon valley of India(Bengluru) so great opportunities off campus also.

RVCE keeps on updating its syllabus according to recent requirement of skill set in students. Its a placement oriented college and the faculty also keeps the track of advancements in the course. You get to participate in numerous events organised by the HOD's of the respective departments which ensures you get enough exposure of the industrial work which you will pursue in coming times. Naming a few of them will be injustice to other professor's hardwork as all were knowlegable. Still, Sindhu rajendra of electronics department and kartik shastri of physics department were excellent teachers.

It took me a while to settle at a new place and after i settled this pandemic came. I couldn't do any interships.

RVCE is a placement oriented college and top companies visit during 7th semister of students and with in a month all of circuit branches were placed and at the end of 7th semister most of the students got an offer. My senior is from Civil still he has 3 offers ready for him. A famous CSE guy who got offer from microsoft for creating an app for organ donations. His idea was so unique that he was offered 50 lpa for this project by micosoft.

There are many technical, cultural and youth clubs which you can become a part of. Technical clubs also won international awards and won medals overseas where as cultural clubs are well know for their social works. Recently 8th mile(fest"s name) was organised by my club (RAAG) and it was a huge success. I actively participated in the event and helped my seniors organise such a huge event where whole banglore students where invited. Our campus is around 52 acres big and in the heart of capital.

If you are a BPL person then only there is a scheme for you to avail and you have a chance to reduce the tution fees upto 100%. Once you enter the college you will get a chance to fill that form and get scholarship.

RVCE has a well equipped library its has facility of books as well as e-books. If you want to sit in pin drop silence you will also find cabins in there. It has 2 football fields 1 cricket ground 1 indoor stadium for badminton, table teniss. It also has 2 gyms, 1 basketball court and finally a lawn tennis ground. Wifi works excellent in library and labs around 10 mb/s speed but works less in classes or canteen area. It is 70 year old college so don't confuse it with a antique place to visit. Civil department is the oldest department so its being renovated but other buildings are quite impressive.

I didn't opt for hostel as i being a north indian wanted a PG where i can get north indian food. Its not that hostel does not provide north indian food but the cooks are same so what you expect. My PG is in front pf college only and rent for 1 year is aroung 90k (3 sharing), 110k (2sharing) and 125k (single). It includes accomodation and food both.
