Remarks

Mmcoe is one of the renowned colleges in and around pune.the faculty is good and kind.also my brother studies in the same institute and hence we could live together.Also here femaly safety is given importance hence I chose mmcoe.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is good but there is lack of industrial exposure.I mean we must be introduced to new age technologies.In the world of java we have to learn c.Exams are given more importance than practicals.

The placement opportunities are good but can be better.The placement cell is in contact with us time to time.Alumni network is strong at times when we genuinely need any suggestions.

College Events

The students at mmcoe are also very heplful and kind.It didn't take time to make friends worth a lifetime.Some of the events taking place are Dexterity,Ensemble, Chimera etc.Students participate in thousands to make events successful.

Campus Life

Labs are very well managed and we have a well built playground.The infrastructure is very good and the classes are spacious enough.Enough ventilation and sunlight seeps in. The parking space is well alloted.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus.
