Remarks

As living in Badlapur I know the pain of traveling daily for 4-5 hrs but if it's worthwhile then why not, that's where DBIT came in the picture, where to my experience till date have found teachers who are eager to give their all, they are friendly, they encourage us for different activities, help us to do the same, and most importantly even enjoy the whole journey of their four years with us. I couldn't have asked for a better college than this. The exposure you get in DBIT is so friendly in nature where you ain't gonna feel nervous ever.

Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculum is set by Mumbai University so it is rote learning, faculties bring more to the table rather than rote learning which is the best part of our colleges where the academics and practicality of a subject is maintained.

Class Size: 74Course Fees: INR 127000 per year

Placement Experience

The college every year tries to bring new companies so as to give the people a wide opportunity to the students and have surplus options to choose from according to their interests rather than settling for less.

College Events

The best as there was a huge variety of activities going on. From various events to all the interdepartmental events. Which has taken place thoroughout the time I've been at the institution where not just students but faculties are also a great part.

Campus Life

The infrastructure of the campus is well maintained it ain't a big campus like a big university but then to all the facilities are provided for sports dance halls and all other activities. The canteens are the best as we get a variety of food products and dishes

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

For campus placement students from 3rd year for my course are eligible. Highest package for my course is 3 LPA. Companies like oberois , hyatt etc . If I'll get better placements then I'll go for it otherwise I'll do masters.

Placement cell is quite good. Students are eligible for placement in their last semester of course. There are many great companies that come like JP MORGAN, EY, KPMG. Average package of the college is 5-6 lacs but there are high packages according to the skills of the student. I'd like to go for master's after BMS. Different kind of roles are there for students to apply according to their interests in all the fields like finance, marketing, HR, consulting. There is training provided by the college for placemens and there is personal training for individual company interviews if required by students.

Tata Group, Reliance Group, Aditya Birla Group and some other niche names from corporate are the ones who come for placements at law college. Since every year 300 students pass out and 150-175 of them get jobs from the college placement and the average salary offered is around 6-7 lakhs. Highest though last year was of 20LPA.

I got into DBIT post completion of my diploma so it was a DSE or Direct second year engineering entry students , I got EXTC engineering in the second CAP round . The college offers Engineering in 4 Branches namely Computer Engineering , IT , EXTC, and Mechanical and students can get admission through either by doing 12th or after diploma . For students who have did 12th the college accepts admission through MHTCET and JEE the cutoff are usually high above 90+ percentile for Computer and IT branch while slightly low 80%+ for EXTC and Mechanical branch. The college has a overall seats of 120 seats in computer engineering Dept 60 of which are reserved for Christian Students. MH-Cet percentile of 97 is required as even though it was lockdown when i took admission the cut-off was still that. Yes, in that cut-off, getting admission is tough but cometh the hour, cometh the man is what DBIT believe in. DBIT MUMBAI : where learning meets vibrant campus life .

i didnt applied to other colleges because my sister used to study in DBIT so i was sure the college will be good . while i also thought i was elegible for the college so i preferred DBIT for its approachable faculty and industry connections. the adimission process at DBIT involves eligibility based on 12th- grade marks and MHT-CET schores with atypical cutoff arounf 85-90 percentile for IT. the process is smooth, with a centralized counseling ensuring transpency. rejections elsewhere were due to higher cutoffs but DBIT has proven to be a great choice overall....Read More
