Remarks

Okay, so to get admission to this college you have to give the UPSEE exam, which is the state level entrance exam to get admission to your preferred colleges in the state of Uttar Pradesh. I got admission in Mechanical engineering. Allover the college is good, but you have to work hard to obtain a good CGPA in the semester exams, it's not like any private college where you can get out easily. The faculty is just above average. There are regular classes in the college and also a 75% attendance rule, but 60% is okay to sit in the semester exams. Talking about infrastructure, the mechanical department is newly built and has all the necessary infrastructure, regarding other branches of engineering it's just okay. The college is under TEQIP 3 program hence the infrastructure is relatively good compared to tier 3 colleges. The computer labs are equipped with high-speed wifi and powerful systems. The campus is not fully wifi enabled but they are just working to enable it on the whole campus.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The university itself decides it's own syllabus and exam pattern, however, most of the syllabus is based on as prescribed by aktu. Exam pattern is simple two times mid sem and then the final semester. The faculty is just above average, you have to ask them if you don't understand something, same as with other government colleges. You have to work hard to get a good CGPA in the end sem and take this thing seriously.

Placement Experience

2.5

Campus placement is very low especially if you are from a core branch. In CSE students get placed with an average package of 3lac per annum. Most of the students go on for campus placement since the placement cell of the college is not that active however things may change in the coming future with new management. Most of the students from core branches either take off-campus placement or prepare for GATE and other competitive exams.

Fees and Financial Aid

In 2019 the tuition fees were 67500 for the whole year, making this college an affordable one if you want to obtain an engineering degree. I think this year the fees will be hiked citing the present situation so please visit the website to obtain the actual fees for the 2020-21 session. UP scholarship is available and more than 80% of the fee is refunded if you get a scholarship.

Campus Life

3.5

The campus life is just okay it's not that great as compared to the metro cities. But, in college, you make friends for a lifetime. Annual fest KALRAV happens every year in the month of Feb in which every student can participate and show and discover new talents. There are different societies in which you can participate and improve and discover new skills. NCC is also available for those interested. The library is well equipped and you can find most of the relevant books though they are older editions. Cleanliness is maintained on the whole campus. There are different sports like cricket badminton, chess, table tennis. etc in which one can take part.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is well structured and keep up with the evolving trends of industry. It balance Theoretical and knowledge and practical application, helping students build a strong foundation in core subjects like programming mathematics and engineering fundamentals. The curriculum Includ Laboratory session Projects and tutorials that enhance understanding beyond the textbooks It also allows students to choose elective in later semester which adds flexibility and depth to learn. In terms of revevance, most subjects are designed to align with current industry requirements especially in field like computer science and electronics the inclusion of emerging technologies such as ai data science and web development makes it quite comprehensive. However a few areas could be improved such as integrating more industry based project and updating some older Syllabus to match modern tools and frameworks. Overall the curriculum is relevant ,comprehensive and career-oriented providing a solid base for both higher studies and professional development.

Reviewed on Mar 10, 2025(Enrolled 2024)

Course Curriculum Overview:

This criteria for choosing the college was because of placements. The curriculum Is outdated and not as per the industry requirements. In 1st year we are taught only one language and which is of no use.... That is C. But in other universities, students are taught languages like java, C++, python in their 1st year. Teachers are good. I have no issues with them but I have issues with its curriculum. Exam are taken so much which are according to me good as they prepare as for university exams but as I consider placement point of view so students do not have enough time to prepare for their placements, learning new skills as we are supposed to study for exams otherwise we will have to attend extra exams and classes and will lose internal marks. So having many exams have both benefits and drawbacks.
