Remarks

Atmosphere to pursue my higher education is very well. Teaching, learning process is good. Interaction between students and teaching professionals exists. Sanitation in fooding, lodging is maintained. Other facilities are also quite good.

Course Curriculum Overview

Courses are completely up to date. Extracirriculum activities are done with great enthusiasm.Faculties are very supportive.Academics are good. Teaching and learning process is very well. Interaction exists between students and teaching professionals.

Placement Experience

Placement facility is good.placement rate is somehow better. Almost all students are placed. Renowned companies visit for selection of students during placement.

College Events

Campus life is good.various events,extracurricular activities are well organized. Two grand college fest are organized every year, in which one is inter college fest where students from inside university participate and other is intra college fest where students from different college, university even from different states participates. Well known faces, singers, dancers, winner of different national shows are invited to perform in these events.

Campus Life

Infrastructure are to the fullest. Labs are well equipped and facilitate. Size of library is big to the farthest, books are up to it's maximum. WiFi connectivity approaches to each and every corner with high bandwidth provided. Sports are well facilitated.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is designed to teach the basic and fundamental subjects of computer science to students. In each subject, the difficulty level is below moderate. There are some subjects which meet the industry standards and prepare students for jobs in market. But many subjects are out-dated and their syllabus is not upto standard mark of industry requirements. There is an urgent need to update the syllabus and make it more industry demands-oriented. The teaching methods used are good but some updates can make them more better. Less focus is given on practical knowledge and labs. In each semester, you will have sessional exams two times for all 5 subjects. In each year, there are two semesters and in each semester you will havee final exams in the month of December and May.

Placement Experience:

Here, the students of the final year are eligible for placements in there respective departments. Basicly many companies visit my college surroundings us which include Wipro, infosis, solatier etc. At least 50 companies visit my college. The highest placement was 22 lpa at Google ang average package is 10 lpa in solatire and other companies . almost 70 percent students get college placement rest apply for off campus and after sometime they also try to fetch jobs. I maily like corporate a lot , so after completing my degree i want to regain a job in any company in gurgaon.

OPJGU: Not my first choice, but definitely the right one

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is highly relevant and comprehensive, according to me. The core courses that are mandatory for a student to take are highly relevant and necessary in order to develop the relevant skills and knowledge in that specific domain of the field. Electives on the other hand, are a student's choices and may or may not be relevant directly to the course one is studying. The university offers a wide range of electives and the electives are also taught by highly qualified professors across the 12 different schools of JGU. The end semester exams are either of 30 marks or 50 marks, depending on the course. Electives usually have a 30-mark end-of-semester exam for 1.5 hours. The exams are pretty easy and theoretical and contextual, unless the course one has chosen is strictly application-based and demands applications of theoretical frameworks. The core exams in the first and second year are divided across 50 and 30 mark exams and are often for 3 hours. The exams are pretty easy and theoretical except for the practicum courses, which are deeply application-based. The final year has very few core courses which are for 30 marks.
