Remarks

Autonomous college, good placements, easy connectivity to nearest railway station, quality education, nice campus, experienced staff, great Alumni network, less distance from home, 3rd ranked college in Mumbai

Course Curriculum Overview

Syllabus was updated in 2018 since the new autonomy rule, separate industrial exposure course was introduced to give students exposure, faculties are experienced and skilled, many industrial visits were planned

Class Size: 65Course Fees: INR 171374 per year

Placement Experience

Almost 200 different visit each year with more than enough job opportunities, placement process is smooth and all the deserving students get placed, many dream companies also visit KJSCE with packages upto 15L/pa

College Events

Campus Life at Somaiya is great, year round events are going on, KJSCE has three fests- Abhiyantriki (Technical fest), Skream (Sports fest) and Symphony (Cultural fest), Cultural fest is one the biggest event in Mumbai amongst all other enginnering colleges

Infrastructure in one of the best in Mumbai, ample of sport facilities, sports fest, campus wide wifi is available, Library has enough amount of books in partnership with IIT-B, labs have latest equipment, CISCO lab is present where students can get hands on experience on CISCO routers and switches

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

For campus placement students from 3rd year for my course are eligible. Highest package for my course is 3 LPA. Companies like oberois , hyatt etc . If I'll get better placements then I'll go for it otherwise I'll do masters.

Placement Experience:

Placement cell is quite good. Students are eligible for placement in their last semester of course. There are many great companies that come like JP MORGAN, EY, KPMG. Average package of the college is 5-6 lacs but there are high packages according to the skills of the student. I'd like to go for master's after BMS. Different kind of roles are there for students to apply according to their interests in all the fields like finance, marketing, HR, consulting. There is training provided by the college for placemens and there is personal training for individual company interviews if required by students.

Tata Group, Reliance Group, Aditya Birla Group and some other niche names from corporate are the ones who come for placements at law college. Since every year 300 students pass out and 150-175 of them get jobs from the college placement and the average salary offered is around 6-7 lakhs. Highest though last year was of 20LPA.
