Remarks

Campus interviews were less during my tenure. College representative should approach companies. There should be some coaching regarding interviews and written tests.

Entrance Preview

I did PU in PCMB and wrote CET (Karnataka board) and choose KIT college in the selection process. The seat selection process was in bangalore but nowadays it is online and very easy to select the seat. We have to take the dd for the fee and pay it to CET board.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is good I can say 8 out of 10.50% faculty are seniors/Experienced and good but they will hire new BE graduates also. Some theory subjects better to study ourselves. No coaching for entrance exams, they will concentrate only on B.E syllabus.

Internships Opportunities

Usually companies were not coming for hiring. But students use to go to other colleges like PES (Mandya), HKBK college(B'lore) and attend the interviews.

Placement Experience

Campus interview are less. Only 2 companies came for interview. One is NCR and other one I forgot the name. NCR offered 5Lakhs.

College Events

Annual day(Milana fest) will be celebrated each year and all students, parents and friends are invited. Alumni get together will be planned for each year and some seminars will be there. Freshers welcoming party and seniors farewell parties were very good.

Fee Structure And Facilities

First year I paid 5000 to college and 9000 to CET board.second year onwards 10000 to college and 1000 for internet lab. Exam fee was around 600rs.

Fees and Financial Aid

I don't know about it. Some of my friends applied for scholarship and availed it. but I don't know the details.

Campus Life

Campus life was very good. There were sports competitions scheduled each year. Labs were good and well equiped. debate competitions were also planned.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility was very good. 3 people sharing rooms. Good mess. big field, TV hall, Gym Daily coffee, breakfast, lunch, evening tea & snacs , dinner.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

For alumni there is a facebook group created and yearly one get-together is planned. Many of the senior students are attending this event every year.

Exam Structure

Monthly one internals, totally 3 internals and they will consider the average of best 2 internal marks. One final exam every semester.

Best Kept Secret

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum for this year is the updated one. Its 2025 Scheme for the students. The curriculum is well designed according to the needs of CSE students for real life coding. The curriculum contains all required and updated topics which students from CSE background require to develop excellent skills for jobs and startups. There should be only one internal exam instead of two. Because, two internal exams tend to keep them involved more into college exams leaving very less time to build their extra skills. Thus there should be only one internal exam so that students can build their extra skills.

MIT Manipal's Student Plaza is amazing!

Placement Experience:

MIT Manipal Placements starts at around 6th semester as atleast the training and all starts. So final interviews and all starts for us in the 7th semester and before entering 8th or the final semester most of the placements are already done. I still wants to pursue masters as our university has tie-ups with American universities and our course skills can be bettered with masters is what I feel.

MIT Manipal boast a night life worth spending!

Placement Experience:

Around 47 students in our course and in 2025 36 of them were placed and rest I don't think even applied as jobs were definitely available. Infosys, Polaris and others who are now world famous for building cyber security systems were at MIT Manipal to hire students.

BMS College of Engineering truth

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for campus placement from 7th sem. A lot of companies visit the campus,around 300 companies visit and around 1200 offers are made. The big ones are oracle, natwest, ring central,visa. The highest package is around 35 lpa, the average is around 10 lpa. Around 65% students do get placed. My plans are to get a good job after this degree.

I choose this colleagues because it is very near to my house and easy to up and down this is the main parameter by speaking frankly then after joining this college i felt very happy and thankfully by unknown i chose the right college. other than my college they are very friendly i seen so many colleges during the admission they even not respond correctly but my college staff are very friendly.
