Remarks

The college is very good for all the aspects a student requires for overall growth. Only bad remark would be about the crowd. Placements are good in the college and teaching quality too. Enough said.

Entrance Preview

AIEEE- 118. Always wanted to be an engineer and invent something which will be helpful for the markind but won't harm Mother nature simultaneously.

Course Curriculum Overview

In every semester we have 3-4 technical subjects. With practical exams and vivas conducted before the semester. Submissions take place before practical and vivas.

Internships Opportunities

Many companies come in our campus for placements. Including renowned and prestigious companies like Microsoft, TCS, Infosys, Accenture and many more. You got to clear apti tests and interviews.

Placement Experience

From 300 students, 212 were placed. Accenture, Infosys, TCS, L&T, AON and several others. Generally, upto 3 lakhs per annum was given.

College Events

Various festivals are celebrated in our college. Orion - technical festival. Zeal- cultural festival. And yantra as technical workshop. Students always participate whole heartedly and also students from other colleges show interest.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees annually are around 1 lakh. College is quiet helpful if you provide them wih any proper financial issue document. If you have financial issues, college provides you instalment scheme.

I have no idea about the scholarships or loan facility that the college provides. But, I have heard about few scholarships that the college provides.

Campus Life

Several personality development events take place in college. Along with that, various technical events also are arranged to test students IQ. Intercollege competition of robotics are conducted. In the even semester sports event are conducted.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are very helpful, they guide you with how you should behave and help you with the studies. College alumini conduct various orientation programmes to make students aware of what they should do to successfully clear the semesters.

Exam Structure

2 semester exams are held annually. Engineers life is always very hectic as we have lab experiments everyday and submissions of respective lab experiments. And, Mid term unit tests are also conducted.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Placement of this college is average, average package is 4.5 lpa most of the students are eligible from semester 7 The companies like Capgemini, Accenture, mind space, LTI, siemens, eclerx ,etc visited to college campus. In recent mind space give place about 12 lpa. Placement percentage is 80 percentage After getting degree my plan is for higher studies.

The moderate college of engineering in pune , with moderate fees and good environment.

Placement Experience:

the placement structure of this college is mainly on the tech branches. the placement varies betweem 3 to 5 lakhs on average, annually but if are choosing core branches like mechanical, civil or electrical or entc then you can expect low from it. College do offers insdustry obesrvation and siteseeing tours. These activities are for core branch students. the companies visited in college are TCS, WIPRO, INFOSYS, for IT sector and core branches companies like BOSCH, ULTRATECH CEMENT, TATA TECHNOLOGIES , do visit for campus recruitment. The highest package was placed by a student of 45 lakhs in 2022 and another student of 22 lakhs. the percentage of placement for 2024 batch was about 70% to 72% for overall placement record. after getting degree i will persue the job in pune and stay updated on ladakh civil job vacancies.

i had seen Companies visiting like Entrata, Airtel, Honeywell etc..... Highest package till now for currently year is 15 lacks. I had also seen students who are doing interships and are placed there only.

SIT is best engineering college of Pune!!

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Should I go for VCET ??!!

I stay in goregaon and for me travelling in the reverse direction is easier than travelling to other colleges. The timing of the trains and the crowd is also pretty managable. I did apply for various college. KJ Somaiya and Xaviers are the college were I was accepted but according to my comfort I chose this college. As the Fees is also reasonable and the traveling time is also saved, So for me it was a the comfort zone I'd say. And other college I was rejected due to the score was not compitent as they needed it. It takes admission on the basis of CET JEE so the admission process is almost online they do have their institute round on their website for which the result is also given on the website itself....Read More

Review about recent upgrades at VCET

Admission process is smooth at the college. The management is very clear with all the instructions. Eligibility exams are MHTCET and JEE mains and also diploma in related field.
