Dheerendra's Review On Jabalpur Engineering College - [JEC], Jabalpur

The college is one of the oldest and most privileged college of INDIA. Jec being establish in 1947 has carried its name gloriously over these many years. Jabalpur being my home town also provides me an edge to pursue my studies in this college and being close to my family. In addition over the years the college, Jabalpur engineering college has marked its name through its motto "onwards on wings" and gave very successful people to the country in every technical field. I wanted to be the part of this prestigious college. Apart from this the BTech course in Electronics and communication that i have chossen can lead me to fulfill my dreams. This field can provide me technical jobs of importance in either defence or civil services or research and development programes. As a learnt graduate from electronics and communication engineering I can build my profile in the workplace as an electronic technician, signal pilot, amtennas tech engineer, and innovative fellow in the ever growing electronics field. Thus not only being a BTech grad. from electronics and communication engineering, I can be a successful and well off man in future but also I can become the person creating jobs rather seeking them. And to my fotune, both these options bring goods perks and pay, respect and intellect.

Yes we have been given the updated syllabus. Keeping in mind that studemts from over India gets to admitted in the college, the syllabus is revised and updated continuously. Industrial exposure is pretty good. We have the liberty to choose our site and gets our hands on a project. Industrial trainings and internships are an integral part of our academic curriculum.

The training and placement cell of our college is being organised and maintained by the college authorities in serious nature. All the companies visiting the college make sure they get the best out of everyone. And most students stood up to their mark. Recently an internship and job offer has been made by the leading management company GOLDMAN SACHS in the college. The placements are good and alumni network is good.

College has two auditoriums and an open spaced stage for various cultural and technical events. Each alternative year a sports and a cultural event is set to take place. A sports event is almost every years mega event in the college. Recently a techno-cultural event has been postponed by the college authorities due to the present scenario of COVID-19. The size and interest of the students in such events is a sight to behold. All students distribute work among themselves to organise the event giving them management exposure and all participants a cultural, technical and sports exposure.

Sports facilities are pretty good. All the students from the college participate in the sports events and make full use of the sports facilities and courts. As the needs for digital teaching and our fast growing reliance on the Internet increases day by day,our college has recently taken a wi-fi optical cable connection. I hope tbe speed, range and connectivity of this network improves in the coming time. The institute's instruments have grown old as the college but unlike college old equipments are not gold. Amd keeping in view new lab's equipments get changed over time. And amongs other infrastructures college library is pretty large. College has two auditoriums and an open spaced stage for various cultural and technical events.
