Remarks

Newly emerging course in Kerala. Studies are mostly concern about dairy products. It includes processing. marketing and maintaining a dairy industry. There are only less number of students so more care and concern are provided form faculties.

Course Curriculum Overview

Faculties used to cover the complet portions of the course syllabus faster when compared to other colleges in Kerala. And the semester exams are conducted after 100 days of the semester. It ensures students are getting enough time to complete their course syllabus. This course have more industrial exposures. Study tours are an integral part of the B. Tech academic curriculum. An All Kerala tour and an All India tour are organized to facilitate the students to visit the most important Dairy and Food plants and other important institutions across the county. Apart from these, study tours are also organized as part of the various courses. It includes trips to dairies, packaging industries, dairy farms and other such institutes concerned.

Placement Experience

3.5

The college started to work from 2015 and the students from that year passes out and among them a few got placement. Interview regarding placements are guided by the faculties. Marketing companies like milma used to place students from our college. Our first batch of students was passed out last year.

College Events

4.5

We have a few number of students in our campus. So conducting cultural activities encourage most of the students to take part in the events and increase their capabilities. At the end of the this BTech course students are doing some sort of training such as in dairy farms, dairy industries like milma, amul, mother dairy etc. And also to enhance the entrepreneurship skills they produce different kinds of innovative dairy products and sell it in the market.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship like central sector scholarship, post metric scholarships are provided for the students.

Campus Life

Currently college at Thiruvananthapuram doesn't have a permanent college building. College is working in the bsnl rttc campus at Thiruvananthapuram. But they have tried to facilitate good infrastructure even in that rented location. Currently the college have a play ground, where sports like badminton, football, cricket are conducted. Wifi is 3nable only i n the computer lab. And the well managed library is mostly equipped with books regarding the dairy science and technology. Lab equipments are good enough.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facilities are good. One room contain 3 persons. Actually the hostels are too rented from the bsnl rttc. Currently the fees have to be paired by the students and it can be remunerative. And the fees are paid back to the students by the University.

The campus placements are decent. getting placed in a big company is more about having the technical and soft skills to pass the interviews. the placement training helps us develop soft skills but the technical skills must be developed ourselves.

We can be the reason for someone's confident smile is the reason for my decision to choose this course. Prosthodontology is the specific aspect of this curriculum that influenced me. If the student go strict to the curriculum that will definitely reflect in the real world. this makes the student more confident in the career. The available teaching methods are good enough. As i mentioned each level has its own toughness. if we stick on to the curriculum, and the path paved by the facilities the difficulty level will be much lower

Course Curriculum Overview:

Im a passionate student architect. From childhood, I had this dream of becoming a creator. So I chose this course. There is a good ratio of faculty student ratio in the private colleges all over india. I'm not sure about the teaching method because this is more like a self learning course. But faculties are also helpful most of the time. Jury subjects are tougher than written examinations.

Remarks:

The hostel and college infrastructure are a little poor compared to other colleges but it is expected with the minimal fees given. There are a lot of festivals and programs and a healthy political atmosphere. The non violent conflicts between the two opposing parties lead to good development in the college.
