College of Dairy Science & Technology, KVASU Thiruvananthapuram, B.Tech, Dairy Technology

Remarks

College is so good. And this is a government college with so many benefits. Admission process is too easy. And they also conduct more curricular activity and other activities such as sports and cultural activities.

Course Curriculum Overview

Because I like this course more than other courses. All faculties are good and helping through the examination doubt and other PG related questions. So the college is so good.

Class Size: 30

Placement Experience

2.5

The placement of the college is too poor but they are trying to do better in this case. So in future it may be improved. Almost 50% students get the placement jobs.

College Events

Campus is just too good and the infrastructure is at peak level where you feel like you are studying in a private college. All classes are fully equipped with projecters and touch screen computer.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees per semester is around 7500 rs. And if you are in any category but your father doesn’t have any government job then you may get scholarship. But the campus jobs are poor.

Is engineering here worth it?

Likes

All the teachers are well qualified and equipped to teach but the quality of teaching differs as per individual.

Dislikes

The say of students in matters concerning them or others is nil. We have very little say as the management takes all decisons.
Teachers have ego and superiority issues between themselves which might affect the children in 4th year, project phases.
Fests, events and functions are not upto any expectations.Schools in trivandrum have better events than our college.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan, infosys, commandtech, bimlabs, gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA

CDST, TVM is Best option

I like to study science-related subjects in degree. Before I'm got this course by Keam allotment, I temporary admitted to Christian college, kattakkada for the programme BSc Physics. This BTech (dairy technology) course provides a guaranteed job opportunity for all students with a good GPA score. Mainly the dairy units like Milma, Amul, mothers dairy, etc. Will calls students who completed a 4 years degree of b. Tech dairy technology. Our college situated in kaimanam, bsnl rttc as a temporary building. There is some work progressing on the original building. We have a good faculty team to help the students in various departments like dairy microbiology, dairy chemistry, dairy engineering, dairy technology, dairy business management, animal husbandry. We have good lab facilities here. It is a government college with a capacity of 20 students. NSS and other extra activities are available here. In my point of view, there are no negatives in my college....Read More
