I simply didn't gave any entrance exam but applied directly. My marks were well qualified enough for my enrollment on this course. Although KIIT conducts entrance exam known as KIITEE and if seats are left than a candidate will be directly admitted.

The course is of years which will give u the degree for bachelor's of computer applications.

Although bca is a graduating course still kiit campuses us for well known companies like WIPRO,SYNERGY,INFOSYS,L&T INFOTECH,TECH MAHINDRA,TCS providing a minimum stipend from ? 13,000 to 20,000 for starting.

Kiit guarantee 100% placement records over any other colleges in orissa. Students are trained and taught for placement drives in a campaign called TRAINING AND PLACEMENT CLASSES. Companies structures are as follows WIPRO (WASE & WISTA) 4 years bond with degree of M.tech (IT) under a study program known as WILP work integrated learning program.

Kiit gives tech fest whole year and huge opportunity to explore yourselves. Recently KIIT FEST has recorded to the maximum number of events (72) in limca booj of records ajd was also trending on the top. Karan oberoi,salim sulaiman were the main attractions of the fest. Kairavi,koloseum,byte-o-mania,kritansh etc are the popular fests across india happens at KIIT.

Half fee for 1st rank holder in KIITEE exam. Only hostel fee for candidates of BPL level. Scholarship for class and year toppers of ?12,000.

Kiit offers a totally vast and dynamic diversity of college life. The gender ratio could be 2:1 boy:girl ratio but thid hardly matters. Minor n major workshops such as on cloud computing,robotics,advance java,gaming,brain teasers go on for the whole academic sessions. The students clubs and cultural societies is there to take care of any extra curriculum activity known as KSAC(kiit students activity center). Different clubs such as robotics,dance,drama,fashion,cricket,football,badminton,snooker,pool,table- tennis etc. Kiit is equipped with high richer GYMS total 3 in number and a swimming pool in addition to a private indoor n outdoor stadium too. Kiit also celebrates each festival in its own campus. Festivals such as CHATT,RATH YATRA,DIWALI are major attractions. Other fesrivals are too celebrated in each department and in each hostel. Students are good enough tp help each other and could be called as a whole kiitian family.

Hostel facilities could never be called hostels as one will get friendly environment as well as supportive staff across every hostel. Kiit has 52 hostels each having stength of approx 600 students including girls and boys. Kiit offers A.C hostels too. Every hostel is three seater including 2 mess in each hostel with a very fine quality of food. Hostel charges non a.c ? 45,000 anum,a.c hostel 80,000 anum mess fee 25,000.

Kiit has a society known as kiit alumini society and networking is quiet good and connective. Senior are the only hope for your exams and they do give good suggestions too.

Faculty in kiit is supportive and very friendly. The faculty are m.tech qualified and Ph.D holders. Faculties make prior effort for better knowledge of the students. In spite of mother tongue odiya they make english a very easy language tp communicate.
