Remarks

The college is approved with good ranks and the college is in dehradun which has good atompshere and comes along top college in india and well known for the education level and placement. The place attract me the most to choose for the university and its ranked among tops in dehradun

Course Curriculum Overview

The course Ba hons psychology is great course as I enjoy exploring more about psychology which may be possible because of the faculty members at university and the way all the curriculum and academic program is planned.

The jobs regarding this course is increasing at rapid pace as now a days psychologist are required in various fields. All thing are good but it also depends on your specialization in the course. More specialization more will be a good job.

College Events

The campus life is great as every events including festivals are celebrated by the university. various technical, cultural events are held at the great level in which students can be part and enjoy. The graphic era deemed to be university is well known for its fest.

The university provides scholarships on the basis of the scores which you have scored in your 12 standard and later your scholarship depend on your semester scores

Campus Life

The infrastructure is great as every course has their separate building and all the sports facilities; wifi and other basic necessaries are fulfilled of the students. The campus have great library which provides students a easy path toward books.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel infrastructure is good. The rooms of the hostel are big and sharing depend on the room u take as the students can also opt for single seated rooms, the option includes 3 seater, 2 seater and 1 seater. Although hostel are easily available if u find difficulty u can also go for pg as they are also good and easily available.

Things to Know about Uttaranchal University before admission.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement are quite bad as only a few companies come to our college for placement drive . Students becomes eligible for campus placement from the 3rd year onwards . Companies visited like TCS , HCL and some other not much popular companies visited but this year placement is very low . Our college also fake advertising about the placement they advertise the interships also as placements. 10 to 20 percent in BTech CSE are getting only Placement. I don't know what I will do after getting degree but currently I am doing a side by side diploma from IIT Roorkee to get some extra knowledge and skill improvement for better placements.

Placement Experience:

The placement of our college is quite good as various companies from all over the country show up at DBS for the internships and placements such as HDFC, Deloitte, Haffele, TCS etc. There are barely any student who dont get placed. As for my plans after getting my bachelor's degree is to either work for a good company if and when i get placed otherwise definitely grab the offer for the masters degree in management.

HAL, Interglobe Aviation, and DRDO and others have made understanding with our university to take our students for giving us practical exposure. Now these are the same companies where our services will be hired and therefore as per placement standards packages of 50-60 thousand a month is what we will be paid.

Geu provides best intenrships!

No rejection as GEU was my choice of College. I though gave that just for fun as it was decided long back that I will take admission in GEU. So, GEU top has its entrance but direct admission are also there if someone don't want any scholarship or anything. At GEU, and specifically for our course there are no hiccups or issues as we gets admission directly. Also, on the basis of our PCM as those subjects are mandatory to enroll in our course. In most cases it is direct but University also has its own entrance exam as well. Even other entrance scores are evaluated and based on that scholarships are also provides.
