Entrance Preview

In CET 5000 odd rank and I choose this because I got a CSE branch in this college. The other reason is mainly it's close to my house and located within city limits.

Course Curriculum Overview

As usual it was pretty tough as it's under VTU. All the subjects are tough however the teaching part is good in our college and hence you could easily get 70+ in each of the subjects provided you study from the day one. Internals will be pretty easy and u can easily get 23 or 24 in most of the subjects.

Internships Opportunities

CTS, TCS Infosys Tech Mahendra and many more. But you may not get internships here rather you may expect them to do placements. No stipend will be given though there are some internships. Placement officer isn't bothered about these factors for sure.

Placement Experience

That's really good and the main criteria is u gotta have 60% average on all the semisters to take up the placements. Some companies do offer a good package.

College Events

Technical cultural management festivals are not so very good. This is a college to study and score good exams. Nothing will be seen from the fun activities standpoint.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Pretty expensive if You have come through management quota. If you have come through normal CET structure then it could be nominal. Fees structure is really expensive to international students.

Fees and Financial Aid

Nothing as such the management is not so kind towards all these stuffs.

Campus Life

Trust me. it's good only for studies and nothing for extra curriculum activities, labs, sports and etc.

Faculty

Few faculties are really good and very helpful. Some of them are really bad and you just need to do your home work to get some good marks. Internals exams are pretty easy to score.

My College Story

Placement Experience:

Students in my college have a very good amount of campus placements where students become eligible from the final year 7th semester however the placement cell starts training from the 1st year means 1st semester itself like training for aptitude test, coding and mock interviews. Top it companies like TCS infosys, wipro, Accenture, capgemini, cognizant, IBM, tech mahindra mind tree. The campus receives 300+ offers. The average package 8 - 10 LPA and highest package 54 LPA. Every year 90% students are placed. After my degree i am planning to higher studies in abroad.

My College Story

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is generally detailed and aligned with industry Expectations but there is still scope for modernisation in certain areas.Overall i would like to rate 8/10. The syllabus include both theoretical and multiple lab components which ensures hands on learning. The practical labs like programming work and project with learning help students understand how concepts are applied in real work places. A few theory heavy subjects feel outdated and no longer match the current industry demand this could be revised or replaced.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from the 6th semester, but the overall placement scenario in DSCE for CSE is below average. Not even 50% of students get placed in good companies. Most students end up getting offers from mass recruiters or in sales and non-tech roles. Only a small percentage of top performers get decent technical packages. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, Accenture, Cognizant, and a few mid-tier companies visit the campus, but the number of high-package, core-tech roles is very limited. The average package is on the lower side compared to other top COMEDK colleges. Because of this, many students plan for higher studies, certification courses, or off-campus drives after completing the degree. The on-campus placement support definitely needs improvement, especially for technical roles.”

My Honest College Experience at CIT(Cambridge Institute of Technology)

Placement Experience:

The students who are studying in 7th semester ( final year) are eligible for campus placements but before that in 5th semester there is pre placement training like aptitude everything. Top companies visit for placement like TCS , infosys, wipro, accenture, capegemini, IBM, techmahindra, Mindtree. Average there are 150-250 offers. Average package is 7-8 lpa. The highest package is 54 lpa at botify company. 85 % of students get placed at cse branch and ai amd ml and civil 30 - 50% . Overall 80% students gets placed. My plan is join a top product based company liek google with a good life.

Great college with poor placement

Placement Experience:

Placements are the only bad thing about the college . Average ctc is only 4 lakhs per annum and only handful of students get actual placement.and rest get placed in either call center or training companies

A complete discipline with education

Placement Experience:

The placement are good average packages 8 lakhs highest packages 35 lakhs and the companies include Google ,Microsoft ,service now companies and usually internships are provided as students become eligible for internship after 3rd year percentage of students getting placement 80% my plans still not yet decided

I actually could have gone to iit but I ignored cbse and couldn't complete the 75% criteria,due to cbse my kcet rank went down, according to my rank this is the best college and course I can get,yeah I got rejected by iit cuz I got 67%, I don't know about other admission process mine was due to kcet u have to either pay challan in bank or online of rupees 107500,after that u have to download the admission order and go to the college submit the necessary documents and pay 27500 admission fee in which u will get ur stationary,a artic fox customised bag, library accessibility,etc my branch cutoff was around 65k...Read More
