Remarks
Good aspects of amity university Noida is its campus and faculty. The classrooms are modern and everything is to benefit the student in every way. Admission process usually starts in Jan and Feb and you have to register yourself first and after that amity will give you a date for your entrance test and interview. After giving entrance and interview they'll tell you if you got the admission or not. Reason for preferring this university is because of courses available here and fee structure here is very nice if you compare with other private universities in India. I used Shiksha to get some more info about the fee structure and courses.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is excellent as you get to know everything before that what are you going to study in this course. I choose this course because I was interested in world politics and this course does not teach me politics but more than that. It gives me knowledge about history, politics, administration policies, how are the relations of a country with other countries and how to manage it. There are 60 students in my class and every faculty comes well prepared and we have proper classes throughout the day and everything is planned before. Most of the faculty is a PhD holder and teaching methods are modern as every classroom have a projector which every professor can use and they use projectors every day. Amity doesn't give students much exam pressure as they have only internals and externals, and difficulty to clear is based on how much a student study, if you give attention to it you'll clear a semester with good sgpa.
Internships Opportunities
Internship opportunities are available in amity university and every student is required to do an internship in 3rd year. Amity also offers an on-campus internship to students.
Placement Experience
Placement cell is there for every course, your faculty also helps you to get placement. Amity University Noida has a dedicated placement cell in every major institute as far as I know. Though the quality of placements varies according to your performance in academics,co-scholastic activities, sports and out-campus achievements. Companies like Wipro, Google, IBM visits amity. Every student gets a job here but the packages are different for every student as companies take their own test and pi so it depends on your knowledge too. My plan is to do my master's from a German university and get a job there.
Fees and Financial Aid
There are some courses for which you'll have to spend more money than other students for example MBA and other courses. Students can easily get a scholarship here if you have scored 90 or more 90+ in your 12th. And you can also get a scholarship if you are a sportsperson and have proper certificates. Fee structure stays the same as they tell you before you start your course.
Campus Life
Campus life is extremely happening as you'll see something every month. After you start your course you'll have you institute Freshers and after every institute finishes it's fresher's then there are amity Freshers where they call a celebrity to it. And there is Sangathan, amity youth fest and many other things happening. There is a stationary in every block where you can but anything you need. The classroom is big and modern, there's ac in every classroom so you won't have any problem in classrooms. Amity has a sports ground, swimming pool, basketball court, tennis court, badminton etc. There is Arcadia where you can play pool, snooker, ps games and you can eat there too as amity have a lot of things inside the campus so students won't feel to go outside the campus. There is alot of groups which are run by students for students, website for every student is amizone you'll get every information and everything you need to know about your course.
Interview Experience
Group discussions are not there, they take interview of every student one by one and written test take place before the interview, it is a simple test just to make sure you know basic things. 55% for the most courses and 60% for others is required for easy admission but if you scored below 55% you'll have to pay more in comparison to other students. I just normally looked at some videos online and studied articles about how to give interviews.
