Remarks

BITS Pilani is one of the best engineering universities in the Country comparable to old IITs. I was getting a desired branch here and it is one of the major factors. Other factors are graduation outcome, college culture, placements and alumni network.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is well designed but hectic. You need to devote more times than other colleges. Academics is promising but again the grading is tougher. Faculties are experienced and researchers are knowledged.

Placement Experience

Almost all tech companies that recruit from India, visit BITS for placements. Including Amazon, Uber, Samsung, Microsoft, Google, Oracle, micron, Texas instruments, Goldman Sachs, BSG, Bain, etc

College Events

There are a lot of extracurricular activities going on in the campus. Dance, singing, painting, debating, poetry, book reading, social services are some of them. You can follow any hobby of yours with enough opportunities to perform and grow.

Fees and Financial Aid

Merit Scholarship and Merit cum need scholarship. Other scholarships of Central government are also applicable

Campus Life

BITS has a very good infrastructure in terms of academic, housing and sports facilities. There are well equipped hostels and mess. Sports facilities includes Cricket, football and hockey grounds. Basketball, lawn tennis, badminton and squash Courts. Gymnasium, table tennis are present in hostels. And there is a large size swimming pool also. Labs and classrooms are well equipped with latest technologies.

Placement Experience:

In our college the students are elgible to sit in campus placement from third year , there comes a lot of companies in our college which comes here for placement drive and some for providing internship .Some of the companies that comes in our college are L&T, Deloitte , Capegemini, Reliance , TCS , TCE, Wipro, Infosys, miniorange, Berger paints ,Amazon etc . The highest package from this college is of 44 LPA which was from CSE branch and given by Amazon and the average package ranges around 6.5 LPA for almost every branch . Every year almost 80 percent of students get placed around here and some of them leaves placement for further studies and also some took admission in many premier institutes for getting higher education.

From fourth year the students become eligible for campus placements And before that you have to go for outside placements by students himself only companies visited like Microsoft Zomato and all no Google and number of companies are not very good only mass recruiters are there like three L package tcs and old highest package is around 53 lakhs by Microsoft last year in 2023 and 4 academic year percentage of getting placements is like around you can say out of 100 4040 will get placement Every package is around 5 according to the chorus but I know it is around 3 lpa In reality I am pre paying for gate exam right now let us see what happened

I selected this college over other colleges due to its legacy, exposure and opportunities. The freedom to traverse through multiple domains and it's flexible academics. I had applied to almost all biotech, bio engineering related colleges to get into health sector domain. I did not get rejection from any of the colleges. The admission process of my college includes an eligibility test, BITSAT, the scores of which determine admission into thsi college. I had appeared for the test in PCB subjects instead of PCM. The exposure given for finance and Entreprenurship in BITS Pilani is well over what an average engineering college might provide you . They offer a minor option using which one can sit in finance placements with companies like UBS Deutsche Bank , Jane Street and many more .The admission process for BITS includes the BITSAT exam which is an MCQ based exam . I chose BITS Pilani over other colleges due to its academic flexibilitym vibrant culture, zero reservation and merit based admission process. I had confirmed admissions from other colleges such as DTU but I opted for BITS primarily because of it Practice School program and the autonomy it offers in shaping your academic journey.
