Remarks

It has one of the best job placements provided in Navi Mumbai. It is student friendly college and cultural fests(Horizon) and technical fests are very exciting. Teachers are very supportive. There are lot of committees in which we can take part which can help in our personality growth.

Course Curriculum Overview

There were eight semesters and each semester has 5 subjects. First year is common for everyone and after that you have stream specific subjects. The faculty is supportive. Every classroom has a projector so faculties make use of presentations for teaching.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 110000 per year

Placement Experience

Placement is one of the best part about this college. Placement rate is very high. Most of the students manage to get placed. College is very helpful in this. Even students having drop have been placed. Companies like TCS, Reliance Jio, Lti, cognizant are some of the examples.

College Events

Campus life is very exciting. Technical fest is held in both even and odd sem. Cultural fest i.e Horizon is one of the biggest fest. Many events like fashion show, edm night, dj night, Bollywood night is held. Festival of ganesh chaturthi is also grandly celebrated. Days like tie day,saree day,traditional day is also very exciting.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements after the 4th sem. Many companies visit and at least one person is hired by every company. Companies from UAE and international companies also make offers. Highest package was 9 lpa and average is 3.5-4 lpa. Only 5-10% students go for a job, others go for higher studies. I am too looking for a part time job with continuing higher studies. Overall the campus placement is good for students looking for a good job and pay. Most get hired as Assistant engineers.

Microbiology is mainly lab based work but it also teaches you other worldly things , the reason behind me choosing Bsc microbiology to do from ruia is because , once i had a talk to an alumni of ruia in which she mentioned that microbiology from ruia is basucally equal of engineering from an IIT. In microbiology particularly i would say the difficulty level is a bit high but only if you don't pay attention to daily lecs and practicals
