ya i choose these college as my dream was to take admission in punjab as i am not from punjab but my friends are study here so all they guide me take here admission and collge is also good. campus is large also sports activities availaible

Course Curriculum Overview

if i talked about my course curriculum then that is fine as per the other college and there was highly qualified faculty who gives their best knowledge to students and spend extra time for weak students. The course curriculum makes the students perfect for the industry if they work hard. Students must follow the guidelines given by faculty if they had to success.

Placement Experience

job oppotunities are less although but then do also most of the student placed were passed out with no backlog. The highest salary was Rs.14,000 per month, and the average salary was Rs.12,000 per month. Top recruiting company for our course is Sonalika. There was a role of mechanical engineering faculty which is offered to me.

College Events

many cultural events occurs like dance, singing, sports also. Free Wi-Fi facility is available in the hostel even at night time. Lab workshops are provided. The hostel had good food at less price. I used to eat in the hostel mess which was under my budget. The hostel was neat and clean with good environment.

Only skilled or quality are able to get placed. Usually onwards 6th or 7 th semester, students can be eligible depending on the performances. I can do a job if I like to work there. If not, I will do more internships to get hands on experience.

Placements are really great of our college as its avg pakage is of 11 lac from computer related branches. Girls are eligible in second year for inters and for boys its generally from 3rd year because of the reservations.

Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. The companies visited per year are approximately 200. They claim 100% placements but in reality they divide students into placement and non- placement batches called tpp and ntpp. If you slip up even once, you will be debarred from the tpp group. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Capgemini, PlaySimple, Cognizant, Nokia, Philips, Morgan Stanley, PWC, KPMG, EPAM, Watchguard, High radius, OYO, Coding Ninjas, Samsung, etc have already came. More companies are yet to come. Since the student intake is too much, placements are really hard to get since there is too much competition. In the end, people get hired in mass recruitment companies and get minimum pay of 3-4 lpa. My plans are apply for off-campus jobs and start working in corporate after the degree. If I don't get a job, I haven't decided what I will do next.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good but I am more looking towards offcampus placements. I will do internships from my second year and in first year I'll make the base. I contacted to some of the seniors they said doing hardwork will definitely lead to a good package.
