Remarks

One of the best universities in India and provides a lot of exposure and opportunity to pursue your interest. Due to my interest in physics as a subject and in pursuit of a better branch I took physics. Due to the flexibility offered by the college duals get a branch according to GPA in their second year.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is quite tough since BITS has relative grading. So there is constant competition for grades.BITS might not be an option for you if don't want to study your courses properly and just chill. Getting an 8+ grade relatively hard as compared to any college in India. Also partly because there is no reservation in BITS, So quite naturally all students are brilliants. Very good peer, very talented, and brilliant minds you get to meet. There is 0% attendance in lecture but I strongly recommend going to it because it will reduce the time, energy, and stress you will require covering for it. There is a lot of surprise tests in each course min 4 for a 3 unit course and they carry a heck lot of weight-age. So you have to be very regular in your studies during the semester. All faculty are decent, you can learn from all the professors so avoid indulging in favoritism unless in extreme cases. Quite obviously some teachers are better than others and you enjoy a lot in many classes. There 2 PS for industrial exposure, on average a student has 3 internships before he/she graduates. Join BITS if you enjoy learning and are genuinely interested in educating yourself.

Placement Experience

5

I am in my first year, as far as i have heard its quite good but i personally dont have any experiance in this regard. But I can assure you all decent companies such as Uber, amazon, flipkart visit are companies and offer lucrative deals.Famous startup-Pixxel, Pepper,Locale etc. Alumni networks very strong and good. Notable alumi can be easy found on google search.

College Events

5

Campus life is really good, the campus doesnt sleep its awake all the time. There are 3 fest -OASIS,APOGEE and BOSM. Cultural, technical and sports fest respectively. You will enjoy a lot and probably have the time of your life there.

Fees and Financial Aid

Merit-cum-need Scholarship- Usually for family income less than 10lakhs, very easy to get, at 6 cg you get 25% tution fee wavier,at 8 cg 40% upto to 100 % can be availed. Merit scholarship- extremely difficult to get, awarded to top1% and top 2% of the batch.

Campus Life

There is decent WiFi for all student with a limit of 5 GB per day.Library is also quite decent.Overall infrastructure is also good, one cannot complain.Almost all sports facilities are available.Equipment in labs also use most recent technology.Very well-maintained labs.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel for 1st and 2nd year have 2 sharing, rest students get single room.Hostel are decent, one must not have any problem as such.Wing system is followed, there are 2 big washrooms in 1 wing. And 1 aqua-guard. For girls cycles are required as hostel is a bit away from campus.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is well structured and covers all the important subjects needed for a physiotherapy career. One reason I chose this course was the balance between theory and practical training, which helps in understanding how each concept is used in real clinical situations. The curriculum prepares you well for internships and further studies because it includes enough hands-on learning. Exams are held at regular intervals and they are mostly moderate in difficulty if you study consistently. The only improvement I'd suggest is to make some teaching methods more interactive and include more practical demonstrations in the early semesters. Overall, the curriculum feels relevant and comprehensive for a professional course like BPT.
