Yeah management some time take hard decision on smaller issues. Even they don't inspect the issue And give the decision.

Entrance Preview

I have got admission through HP JEE Entrance examination. I scored 57 out of 100. I choose civil because I thought that it had better future admission happen through counselling basis.

Internships Opportunities

Soma Construction pvt Ltd,C&C construction Ltd. Both company have job related to Highway construction as well as Hill Road I did enteurnship at C&C in Highway and it's was really amazing experience.

Placement Experience

3.5

C&C max 3 lacs per annum,San construction-2.25 lacs per annum. In 57 student 26 placed from campus. Most placed in San construction and 7 placed in C&C.

College Events

Cultural programs at end of december annual programme at 10th April with sports activities at state level. In which almost all college participated. Dance programmes also held at state level which is organised by college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

When I was there my fee was 55000 per annum. I joined hostel so I pay 40000 extra per annum. In this they charge 2000 for laundry and 2000 for gym. Examination fees are 1500 per semester.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yeah they sponsor loan for merituous student and poor student at campus by PNB. Also for SC and ST student. They also offer scholarship based on ur academic profermance.

Campus Life

Very friendly environment. Climate is awesome. Mixed culture of haryana and Himachal. 500 student capacity for boys and girls each. There is nothing problem related with race,Religion or anything.

Hostel Facilities

Gym available. Laundry available. Food mostly belongs to Himachal but it's tasty and good. Foods are healthy and hygienic. Management are also supervise the mess time to time.

External Expense: Rs. 4000 - Rs. 7000

Alumni/Alumna

All are awesome and helpful. They helped us a lot during our study and treat us as brother. There was no ragging held by the seniors. They helped us to make comfortable environment.

Exam Structure

It's tough but marking system is good. Semester wise exam pattern are held with total marking 10400 in 4years.

Faculty

Faculty is good mostly the civil faculty from NIT Hamirpur. All have M.TECH. Structures and surveys have good faculty with all types of lab equipments.

Chandigarh-based companies or the startups, and training institutes come here. Companies like Meander Software, Bebo Technologies, Novem Control, BookingKoala - Sales Hungary, etc. companies come. Average package is 3.8 LPA, and 50% students are getting placed. My plans after getting the degree is working in an IT company.

yes they povide placements. After 6th sem, means in 7th sem you are eligible for placement and apply for companies based on their requirements. Google, Microsoft, Adobe, Amazon and many more visits every year. Highest is the PPO of 93 lakhs and placement of 60 lakhs. around 93% are placed who registers for placements Average CTC is around in between 18 to 22 lakhs

Placement Experience:

At NIT Hamirpur, students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester onwards, and the placement scenario has been quite encouraging in recent years. A wide range of companies such as Infosys, Wipro, L\&T, Capgemini, Tata Projects, and several core as well as IT firms visit the campus every year. The highest placement touched an impressive 2.05 crore offered to a mechanical engineering student, while the overall average package stands at around 10.5 LPA, which is a strong figure compared to many other NITs. The placement percentage remains high, with a majority of students securing offers, especially in branches like CSE, IT, and ECE, though core branches like civil and mechanical also receive good opportunities. The profiles offered include roles in software development, consulting, design, project engineering, and research. There were no specific eligibility criteria for admission, as long as you are paying for it, they will accept you. If your state government provides you free education under reservation then you can avail that here as people from Himachal Pradesh get for SC and ST.
