Radha Raman's Review On Haldia Institute Of Technology - [HIT], Haldia

Well i have applied for AIEEE.IIT JEE,WBJEEB,COMEDK. But i am not able to qualify IIT JEE,AIEEE. But i have good score in WBJEEB,COMEDK. But bangalore is very far from my location so i have decidede to get take admission through WBJEEB,finally i am pursuing my btech in hit,haldia currently as 3rd year year student. Admission process is quite easy because they are conducting online counselling and u need to come your alloted college only at the time of admission.

Every thingh is fine but i feel that some subjects are not related to core engineering field like economics are boring. I can't relevency of these subjects in engineering field.

Basically as i have given title that it is situated in verge of nature as haldia is very far from kolkata means big town generally company is not prefer to come at this place but anyhow placement is good for this college. Company provide internship only for good student and if that student perform well then company recruit that guys. Generally core company is very less but software company company came here for recruitment.

Placement records depends on year economic condition. However generally it gets 65-70% placement in our college. Tcs,tech mehendra,wipro,infosys,polyware and some core company definetely came for placement. They recruit more than 40% student then rest percentage is recruited by some core company or they apply for off campusing. They recruit on marks basis as well as through aptitude test,hr round,group discussion etc. Some management based company also come here for recruitment.

Our celebrate many types of cultural,techfest,workshop and many more. They also run a ieee membership program and make member to participate in it. Our college also perform riveria,prayukti competition on college level. Other college student may also participate in it. They also run robosapience means related to robot making. Our college student also go to other college to show their skill and participate in asphalt competition. Some sports related activities also run by our college. College having good infrastructure.

Fee structure is moderate means for four year btech course u have to spend overall 7 lac and our college also provide some fee support to laborious student and performing well in their batch each semester.Now a days it is very hard and fast that u have paid your full fee within 2 months of each semester. It also takes sports fee and library charges each year.

Ya our college provide fee wavier to those students who are eligible for this and a permanent resident of west bengal. As i previously told that they provide free studentship to those student who have done well in their semester exam. Apart from this state scholarship also provided to student because our college is aicte affiliated. Some monority scholarship also taken by students. Our college also support in this facility. They also provide some near 45-50% concession for student in railway ticket when they are going to home within official holidays.

B.Tech four year program is such a long program means u must need some good friend so that u can enjoy ur four year btech life. Campus life is good because weather supports here in the sense no very hot,no very cold,evergreen climate is always there. Academic life is little bit hectic because they want 75% attendence which is very difficult for a jolly student. Well extracurriclum,labs,sports competition is also there means u can give acceleration to ur career our college definetely supports u. This is coeducation college and also very good number of girls are studying there. Our college is free from ragging they also form anti ragging to help syudents from grtting any wrong activities with them.

Our college have more than 12 hostel. All hostel have some good and bad sides but overall rating is more than average. As i am living in aaksh hostel this is best hostel of my college they provide all sorts of amentities. Mess facility is also good neat and clean mess. Also aquaguard facility for safe drinking water regular bathroom cleaning.

Seniors are seniors they embarrace u only upto 2nd year then after u are free to do anything u want.u can talk for any supports they definetely provide. They told u to always wear ur college uniform so that at the time of interview u dont feel uncomfortable. Teachers day they interact with u people in their own style.

You also know about college life it is of 6th month semester but who is going to study whole semester. very few students. So our college exam schedule is quite easy so that student can syudy little bit that they can score good marks. Means there is a gap of 2 days in between two exams and our lab schedule is also good they u can perform lab easily and also perform well in viva if u have attended lecture.

Moderate level of intelligence. All faculty having good personality but having diifferent teaching skill. Faculty helps student in all sort of problems they try provide help as they can. They also help personally for your future or career.
