Remarks

Lovely Professional University is the only top ranked private university in India to get ICAR accredition,So when I searched for ICAR accredited colleges,I came through LPU and I went through entrance,I scored first category in entrance so that I choosed LPU and I have also got 50% scholarship.ICAR accredited colleges has standard level of education and research so that I choosed LPU

Course Curriculum Overview

For Bsc Agriculture the curriculum is based on ICAR.As it is the apex governing body for All ICAR Accredited institutions in india,Coming to farm exposure LPU has vast farm area of 300acres and it consists of a diary unit,Green house,polyhouse,orchards and well maintained labs for genetics and biochemistry. Coming to faculty they are highly qualified doctorates with good subject knowledge and care towards Every student

Yes,Im currently working as an intern at casioindia and Iam getting 5000stipend per month

College Events

All the events in LPU are managed by Student Organizations, LPU has nearly 250+ student organizations which work for all event's being conducted in campus so that students able to learn event management, leadership, communication skills. Actors from bollywood and politicians visits LPU. Major events are YOUTHVIBE,ONE INDIA, ONE WORLD In one world event we can see the diversity of whole world on single campus.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes,I have availed LPUNEST scholarship for getting A category in LPUNEST entrance through that I have availed 50% of tuition fee as scholarship upto the end of my course. And I'm also availing National scholarship fro government of India for getting good grades in my Secondary school.

Campus Life

LPU has world class infrastructure,It is a vast and lust green campus with 600acres and coming to interior part LPU as two closed and one open auditoriums,A big central library and future ready classrooms with smartboards and projectors.LPU has playground near to every hostel and It has Olympic level swimming pool, Indoor stadium.

Hostel Facilities

Yes, I'm a hosteler. LPU has largest residential facility in world and nearly 30000 students reside in LPU hostels There are seperate hostels for boys and girls with high security who are retired army,navy. Hostel rooms are neat and clean,we can choose based on our preference 2seater,3 seater,4seater and also single seater appartments

Likes

supportive campus environment with the comfortable in the classess
faculty most faculty members are very much supportive and they guide the students in the right way only
events are there in the campus provided by the campus.

Dislikes

limited practical exposure is provided by the campus and also there should be more hand on international events
infrastructure is not that good , as they were should on the online it is dii
Placement cell provides opportunities but the stronger industry connections.

placements at my college are very very good, as everybody gets the chance to sit for the placements at the same level. we get the placement oportunities at the 6th semster also. in my brancg it is very good

A Vibrant Campus with good learning and great opportunities

Likes

good infrastructure , large libraries and practical labs
helpful and large opportunities in campus

Dislikes

class size can be large , it helps every child to interact
academic work is quite high , the schedule may feel hectic especially during examination

The curriculum is relevant and covers core cse subjects like programing DSA and DBMS . it provides good fundamental for placements and further studies , more practical projects and industry based teaching would improve it .

I like the most about the college the placement criteria and the way built your confidence
Also the hostel is very good and provide food 4 times
The campus explorer is also very nice according to me

Dislikes

Faculty is not soo well had a lit bit inconvenience
Hostel mess food is not good at some time
Placement is decent and average as like other collage

I appreciate the well maintained campus and infrastructure the cleaniness in the collage is good
My engagement with collage is good I join various types of activity in the collage

Dislikes

There is no ac in the class and the class windows are not that good
But there is one problem which is that there is no many options for girls in games like sports

Currently my course at cgc landran does not have any types of placement in my course but however the collage focuses on enhancing development of students employability by providing interships , skills development and workshops to enhance there knowledge

Gym is provided but only for name, no fame , always full

Course Curriculum Overview:

I’d rate the curriculum like 7/10 in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness — it covers all the major CSE subjects like DSA, OS, DBMS, CN, AI, ML, Cloud, Cybersecurity basics, etc., and honestly that was one of the reasons I chose this course because at least the core subjects are solid even if PTU keeps some old-school stuff in the syllabus. The curriculum does prepare you for real-world stuff, but only to a point — like, if you focus on coding labs and projects you’ll be fine for internships, but if you depend only on classroom theory then it won’t help much because industry wants hands-on skills. For higher studies also it’s okay because theory depth in subjects like OS and DBMS is decent enough. But yeah, improvements are definitely needed — some subjects feel outdated, teachers should use more practical examples, and we need more real projects instead of copy-paste lab manuals; also some faculty teach directly from slides which gets boring fast. Exams come twice per semester (sessionals) plus the final end-sem around December/May; they’re mostly easy if you write long answers, but tricky if you rely only on understanding because PTU likes theory-heavy questions. Overall, the system works, but it could be way more practical and industry-focused.

Cmc - a feeling in itself

Likes

Academics are very good along with proper clinical teaching lectures and simulation based teaching. Patient load is good. All the clinicals skills required at mbbs level are taught properly.
There are various extra-curricular activities which take place in college. Many cultural events are organized by college and student bodies every month which gives an holistic development experience
Sports facilities are also there which are very good.

Dislikes

Infrastructure is very old and needs repair
Many faculty members are leaving leading to less good professors in the college
Patient load is decreasing day by day resulting in less clinical exposure

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum followed in our college is CBME based curriculum. Our college was one such college which conrributed tremendously in developing this type of curriculum. It trains you in all clinical skills and provide you with the best doctor skills. Also many soft skills training session our held which helps in developing and training ourselves as good doctor. All the skills are taught on models and patients.clinical training is very good. However , patient load is decreasing which restricts oursleves in seeing variety of patients

Faculty : The faculty of Gian sagar as per experienced in 1st year of Mbbs is very caring and very talented. They take as many tests they can and make the student learn.
Learning facility : The teachers make digital slides.
Personal skill development : Every student is personally approached.

Dislikes

Too much syllabus : The mbbs course has a lot of syllabus to cover

The MBBS course is a very vast course . Syllabus is too much to handle . The curriculum prepares us for the practical approach like Anatomy , we have Dhall for cadaver dissection and osteology . We can see real life radiography.
