Kondi Manaswini's Review On IIT Guwahati - Indian Institute Of Technology - [IITG], Guwahati

IIT Guwahati is one of the top Institute in India and we have many many facilities here and in the college we get more opportunities to get placements and also in IITs not only studies and all other circular activities are encouraged which helps students to develop in all directions.

My Course is Civil which is very interesting although placements are not good but it's very interesting. All the academics are very very good as they not only concentrate on studies they include extra circular activities too in academics and faculties were also very good they were highly qualified and explains everything in a good manner and we have excellent labs where we learn the subject in detail and we have clubs where we can learn and create the things we learnt.

Many big big companies come into our college.Many type of jobs are offered and our alumni is very very good networking for job referrals amd we get jobs in foreign countries too.

We mainly conduct Techniche,Alcheringa,Udgam in which people all over country came participate around 10000 people participate in all fests and mainly there will be people from other IITs and NITs too.

SBI which is present in our campus provides loans and our campus doesnt provide any scholarships but they will inform us about scholarships available like NSP

My campus is around 750 acers.Its very vast with many buildings and good infrastructure we have around 13 hostels and 5 academic buildings and a very huge library with lot of books to refer and helps students and our library is of 8000sq.meter.We have unlimited wifi all over the campus and with high network speed.As I already told we have many labs for different subjects and for different departments.Finally there is no such facility which was not provided by our campus.

My hostel name is Dhansiri.For first,second year students there are two persons in a room and for fourt and third yearites they give one room for one person.We have a good mess attached to our hostel which provides us 3 different food varieties per one part of the day.We have good unlimited wifi connection and also lan connection for our laptops.We have to pay 10000 in one semister.Wardens are their to solve our problems and security people are available for 24 hours.
