Course Curriculum Overview

At par with the skills required in industries. The project gives us a real life application understanding. Each course has a term project associated with it. Faculty is very helpful and always available to resolve the doubts. The course is structured in a way so that one learns without getting burnout.

Placement Experience

Placements at IITG are one of the best in India. For 2021 the average package at IITG is 2nd over India. The placement percentage is quite good for both the btech as well as the mtech course. Ample opportunities are provided and I believe a serious candidate will definitely get placed at the end of course.

Campus Life

It is one of the best. There are a number of clubs where you get to hone your skills and eventually take part in the competition. Besides academics, the campus offers a lot of opportunities in various fields such as finance, marketing, consulting, dance, singing, anchoring etc. There are clubs for almost all of these activities and according to ones interest, they can become a member of that particular club.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My choosing of this course stands on the basis to bring forth change in the society even if by a little margin. Theory alone could never prepare you for real life endeavours, therefore practical knowledge is very necessary and this college's curriculum encourages practical application well. The college premises could be improved a little and teaching methods could be improved to be more engaging and enjoyable for the students. There should be a balance between giving notes and lectures on topics of said subjects. There is ample time between exams if one studies by managing time better, the exams are moderate and question pattern is fairly understandable too.

I have applied for DTU & IIITD where I got Software Engineering Branch through the JEE Mains Scores. But since I was sure to join old IIT. I was not sure much about branches so, I just filled all the core and circuital branches of all Old IITs. I wasn't able get other top IITs as my rank in JEE Advanced was not that level.
