New learning aspects of education and being able to understand the depth of my working field that is robotics. Being able to learn more about Artificial Intelligence and also Robotics, that being my career focused fields. Since, Symbi is also a valued brand that was too a prime factor in choosing the college primarily.
Course Curriculum Overview
It's quite a fascinating course and the faculty is good enough to help us adjust in this new world of robotics and AI included. The syllabus includes all the subjects of required to understand the robotics and nonetheless it makes us capable enough to tackle new world problems effectively. Glad to be a part of SSPU.
Internships Opportunities
I've had done my internship twice at the end of both my past two years of my four year long degree. It's a mandatory criteria for each student to have an internship, stated as by our college faculties. The company I did my internship in was Kirloskar Brother Ltd. a private company with a great turnover. It's a Fortune 500 company. The work of internship i did there was of examining pumps and motors their working and construction.
Placement Experience
The college provides a good placement faculty and opportunities for us to being placed in Fortune 500 companies. It's an open field of opportunities for job opportunities for the students. Kirloskar brothers ltd. Mercedes Benz and many more such successful companies are being brought by our placement cell.
College Events
Since being an engineering grad I'd always suspected my college life to be hectic and full of assignments. Which however is true to some extent yet the college provides a flexible curriculum which tackles more with practicality of our field that theory. This makes it even more fun to learn. Apart from that the breaks we do get at times, we spent most of them near the lake side of our college.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college is been recently set up and it's it's 3rd year. College doesn't provide any scholarship of sorts, as far as it's brought to my knowledge but I could definitely see the possibility of it. The college has given us quite a few great facilities which we're already thankful of and nonetheless provides a good background for our careers.
Campus Life
The college is set in the out skirts of Pune city. In lush green vegetation and the farm side. It's a soothing place, sort of like a sanatorium of sorts for us to learn. It's made in olden British style architecture and that makes it even more interesting to learn in. It's a beautiful place to be.
Hostel Facilities
I've not opted for hostel since I'm a localite. Being a citizen of this fair city of ours, Pune I didn't have to opt for the hostel. It's a 45 min drive from my place to my uni. It's a beautiful drive. Only tad bit agitating near the Hinjawadi area because of the obvious traffic. Yet it's a good hostel as suggested my most of my college mates.
