Remarks

According to me faculties are very good and experienced they support us in each and every lecture or project on the other hand college must focus on cultural and technical festivals and should flexible for extra circular activities, Placement and a others things are good.

Entrance Preview

I took GGSIPU(GURU GOVIND SINGH INDRAPRASTHA UNIVERSITY) Entrance exam. And I scored 10k rank. And I got through several exams like JEE and BITSAT, VIT but I got less marks in JEE and Fee structure of BITSAT is too high so that I couldn't afford for that and therefore I choose IPU and I always wants to be a mechanical engineer so my college is one of the good college in my university. I had many options like Btech in CSE, IT, CIVIL or MECHANICAL. But I love mechanical so that I preferred this branch. I want to feel the engineering feel the things so that I choose for mechanical. Admission process is soo easy. You have to give IPU entrance examexam and by scorin good rank you can choose a college you love within Delhi which comes under University.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

As for as my perception course schedule is too consistent as we haven't got any time for extra circular activities and they take lots of exams in a semester. You have to go through 5-6exams that includes (1st and 2nd)internal theory, internal practical, External practical, External etc You must submit you projects and files during submission and some faculty may favour you and some might not.

Internships Opportunities

It was quiet good i got to know about a lot of new things that I haven't experienced. Initially we haven't get any stipend but after your first internship if you got a chance for internship in any good company you may get stipend and general stipend would be around 5-10k.

Placement Experience

3.5

There is a good placement cell (recruiters are Infosys, Capgemini, L&T, HCL, Way2sms, Mahindra, Hero, SAS, Indian army, Navy, Audi, Suzuki etc) Infosys is the top recruiter of our college. This year 265 students get placed out of 350. Almost 80 percent student get selected in several companies with a good package every year. They offer around 4-5lakh as an average package.

College Events

2

IEEE technical festival, SARSO and many more fests but we are very unfortunate as they do not give much attention to festivals, IEEE technical festival is for ECE, CSE, IT and EEE students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

I don't know about others but for me it's expensive the Fee structure is 1lakh per year excluding mess and hostel facilities which is not so feasible.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes you can take loan easily from many banks which are mentioned in college prospectus. I don't know much about scholarship.

Campus Life

3.5

Campus life has both pros and cons. In my department(Mechanical) there is only 2 girl student out of 64 so one can easily imagine the ratio.Hostel parties are quiet good. There has been workshops in which we learn a lot and they are outstanding. As we know we are living in 21st century so I don't think and I'm sure about it that there is no issue regarding race, religion, gender, ethnicity.

Hostel Facilities

2

I haven't had hostel and mess facilities i have taken PG and it's monthly rent is 3-4k except food and electricity bill.

Alumni/Alumna

My interaction with seniors is very good in my college there is nothing like ragging. Seniors and faculties are very supportive and considerate. They support you in all and every need specially Seniors are very intellectual and having good experience about their department and they give us best possible solution in need.

Exam Structure

Exams and labs are very frequent every week you have 5 labs each of 2hrs and exams are very consistent. You have to give 5-6 exam in a semester which includes 2 internal theory 1 internal practical, 1 external practical and then a external theory exam.

Faculty

4.5

As the department is concerned, our faculties are very well experienced and having good skills and technical knowledge and they give us best support practically as well as theoretically when we need. Some of them are IITians and they give you experience about their projects in IIT and many other fields.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course Curriculum for ECE in my clg is quite up to date and comprehensive, covering both core subjects and emerging areas of technology, which was a major factor in my decision to choose this branch. Course has a balanced theory with practical exposure, supported by great faculties guidance and well-maintained lab conditions. Also you get to choose the type of minor or specilaization you want to pursue after 1st year. Exams are conducted regularly after each semester, and levels are same as any engineering college would have.

Placement Experience:

The placements are in good terms, many students get a placement with nice package. Students become eligible for campus placements from 3rd Semester. TCS made about 7 offers as far as I know. One can expect the highest package of 2.5crore and an average of 200000. About 80% of students gets placement because of the skills they learned wheres the rest 20% are only at college to do mischievous acts. After getting the degree, I will find a job and then after enough capital I will start my own startup.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The frequency of the exams is 2 times a year once in the month of December and once in the month of May. Internal exams (tests) are conducted in between to continuously evaluate you during the course. According to me, the exam should be conducted before itself, so that we can get more time for internship opportunities.
