Remarks
I opted for this college on the basis of my score and because it was in Mumbai, I would get good exposure to the world. The college campus is very friendly with very supportive staff and students. I have loved the college since joining. What sets this college apart from another colleges is the involvement teachers have in student development as well as the honesty they have to their work. Being a business minded person, I love the fact that college encourages entrepreneurs too. College events are extremely well planned and executed with little to no error and no inconvenience to the participants.
Course Curriculum Overview
Curriculum wise I feel that every college is lacking as no one is up to date with the current world technology and we are to learn obsolete technologies. Because of this, student employability is reduced and companies do not come. There is a general lack of Product based companies.
Placement Experience
They are not that good. They could be better. We get Service based companies more. There should be more Product based companies coming to the campus
College Events
Extremely fun, insightful and a great learning experience. As I have mentioned earlier, the events are well planned and well executed. They are so well publicized that you wouldn't find a single person without the knowledge of any one of the events. The student bodies take a lot efforts in bringing the best people to the college to enlighten the students. We have an extremely intelligent and resourceful Principal who is accessible to every student.
Fees and Financial Aid
I have applied for an Educational loan for my studies. It is a very easy process. Register through Vidyalakshmi portal, fill in your credentials and select a loan scheme. Then go to the bank once your registration is successful. There are some more formalities in the bank. On average this process takes 1-2 weeks.
Campus Life
It is a decent college with a proper and safe architecture. Sports facilities are good but we don't get enough time to explore them. There is no wifi to students, except for the labs which are connected to LAN.
Hostel Facilities
Our college has no hostel. That is a problem. I live in a rented flat which I had to find on my own. There is a staff member who has contacts to nearby PG or Rooms and they are available any time you want to talk to them.
