Remarks
This college ranked top among the colleges within a 200 km radius from my home town. This proved to be a factor in my deciding to pursue my undergraduation from this institution. Apart from this, the college has a green and calm campus.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course syllabus was thorough and the professors were also good. We were encouraged to pursue internships and in - plant trainings and encouraged to do projects. The laboratory facilities were also good.
Placement Experience
The placement is usually good. A large number of software companies and some core companies visit. Most of the visiting software companies are service based companies. Tech giants Infosys and CTS visit every year and a large number of students get placed there.
College Events
The campus supports a large number of curricular and extracurricular clubs. An inter college cultural fest is held in the odd semesters which lasts for two days. An inter college technical fest and an intra college cultural fest is held in the even semesters.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college offers a merit scholarship. Students with a good cpa are awarded cash prizes as scholarships.
Campus Life
The college has a good library. There is also a ground. The equipment in the labs was also good. The hostel facilities are also good. However as a girl, the girl's hostel rules and timings are quite strict and draconian in a sense.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facilities are good. However the rules for the girl's hostel is quite strict compared to the rules at the boy's hostel. Rooms are in sharing basis. The rooms are spacy and each student is provided with a cot, a table and a chair. Availing the hostel facility is easy.
