Availability of my course, beautiful 250 acre campus, good reference from past year students, location in a city like Chennai, easy travel facilities, Faculties with good experiences in their respective fields( available on college website)

As we joined the college in the year 2018, and the university revises the regulation every 3 years, we got an updated curriculum with a good theory to practical ratio. There were enough talks by various industrial people, and visits were lined up but couldn't be fulfilled because of the COVID-19 outbreak. Dr. Anbalagan is a very experienced and knowledgeable faculty who helps us understand the theory while making sure we know the practical application of the same.

I will be applying for higher studies abroad and am getting guidance for the same.I don't have much knowledge about the placement of the college.

The campus life at SRM is good. But very strict, as the teachers and people around have a certain decorum they expect from the students at all points. There are two major national level fests namely Aaruush(techno-management fest) and Milan(5th best cultural fest of India) With the presence of numerous other student run clubs both technical and non-technical. There is also a new club for de stigmatising mental health issues (one of it's kind) affiliated by our own SRM Hospital.
