I chose NMIMS Bangalore over KJ Somaiya from where i got an offer as well because NMIMS is a brand name, the batch size compared to KJ Somaiya is one third and the average placement is higher as well. One other reason would be the high cost of living in Mumbai. I applied to KJ Somaiya and TAPMI as well. Rejected KJ Somaiya and didn’t get shortlisted for TAPMI. I got rejected from TAPM, their shortlisting criteria completely changed and I couldn’t do anything to change it. The admission process for NMIMS Bangalore is basically by clearing the NMAT exam, I scored around 230 and the cut off for it was i think around 224. NMIMS only take NMAT for consideration. The following are the eligibility criteria for the MBA course at NMIMS, Bangalore: Bachelor's degree in any discipline with at least 50% aggregate marks.
