Remarks

This is a prestigious institute,Under the MHRD.This institute has very good environment of study.Also it is near to my home town so it is convenient for me. Also Jalandhar is a safe city I was also getting admission in JP Noida but I was new to the outside world so I preferred jalandhar.

Course Curriculum Overview

As I am an industrial engineer student, some companies don't allow to sit in interviews because of lack of technical knowledge.So our department added some subjects related to technology and automation and still working on it to provide technical knowledge to students.

Class Size: 84Course Fees: INR 62500 per year

Placement Experience

3.5

Companies don't much prefer my branch.Only 30-40 % students gets placed.But my department is trying their best to make good reputation of my branch.But the placement of CSE students is almost 100% and of ECE students around 95%.

College Events

It holds a technical event named Techniti.This fest is big.It includes many types of tech competitions, Fashion show, Star night etc.My college also holds a Cultural fest named Utkansh. It is very big fest and includes many kinds of events and competitions such as dancing singing fashion show, acting etc.In these events students from other colleges all over the India also comes to participate.It also holds sports fest in which there are variety of competitions related to sports.

Campus Life

Sports facilities are good in college.Wifi facility is also there in the institute and hostel.Library is also gigantic, it has considerable books that are required by the students.Labs are also well equipped. But college is more focused towards CSE and ECE students. Placement in my brach is somewhat difficult.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel rooms are very good, clean, well ventilated but bit less spacious washrooms are also very neat.It has good drinking water facilities and water supply is also 24*7. It also provides wifi. For girls as there are less number of rooms, eventually they are sharing.Mess is also very clean and food is of good quality.

Hostel Fee: INR 28900 per year

Final placements take during your last semester. Since i am a foreign student, i don’t do placements since it is ment for the local students. But to what i see many students get placed in different companies. Not every student gets a placement. The placements depend on the grades and how the students do there interviews.

Placement Experience:

The final placement normal Star around June and it takes 30 days for it to get over. In my college, not everyone gets placement opportunity. Almost 60% of the students are unplaced, the college do charge the students that are unplaced to pay some amount of money and try and look for other companies where these unplaced students can be hired or placed. the highest CTC offered in my college is 15 Lakhs and the lowest is 2 Lakhs. TATA company is most preferred company as far as I am concerned, simply because the retention rate of their employees is very high which shows that there's job security in that company.

Placement Experience:

The placement starts at June and it ends in 31st of July. Not everyone got placed.90% of students get placed. The call the students to try online placements. Actually I don't know the amount of CTC the company spend of employees. The most preferred companies are the manufacturing and sales companies. I don't know the average CTC. The manufacturing companies hire in bulk. 10k. The placement committee make sure everyone got place in a company. Yeah I feel the it's transparent. I think so because everyone is being called in a hall to know what company you want to be placed in.

Placement Experience:

Approximately 50 percent student remain unplaced because of eligibility criteria. No everyone can't get placement. Average CTC is around 10 lakh. Highest CTC is around 18 lakh and lowest CTC is around 3.5 lakh. Yes placement are 100 percent transparent.

Great learning experience with best campus life

Placement Experience:

Placement cell of LPU is quite good. Management brings almost 500 companies every year which shows that they provide opportunity to students, now it's upto the students that how they grab this opportunity. One of the LPU Allumini backed a package of 3 cr annually at zoom. Ofcourse it was off campus but LPU takes pride in it. Speaking about on campus placements, as far as I know, many students have backed packages upto 60 laks per annum in top companies like google, amazon, Accenture etc. LPU provides students with additional PEP classes in which they groom you for the interviews well before the actual placement drives which enhances your chances of getting a good package. My plan is to take on job taining after 3rd year and getting a ppo from the same company
